Alby is a complete mess and his conscience (Roman) is really sending him off of the deep end.
That scene with him dancing around to that picture of him and Dale together reminded me of the cross dresser in Silence of the lambs lol! I was waiting to see him in drag with his weiner tucked between his legs!
Then Lura shows up asking for forgiveness and he says "What for?"... I wonder what she wants forgiveness for?
I thought Nikki was being very sweet to him but he turned it away and flipped out on her calling her a whore. I think he's gonna kill himself.

Matt Ross knocked it out of the park! If he doesn't get an emmy for his work this season, it is a crime.
The love that exists between Nicki and Alby is really intense and pure. They understand each other perfectly and still love each other.
Alby pushed Nicki away to save her from loving him. He doesn't want to destroy her the way he feels he detroyed Dale. It caused him anguish to send her away, but he had to protect her.
The look on his face when she gave him the designer jeans. It was like she was saying, "Hey, you are gay. You should be that. You will look pretty in these." And he understood.
Just... Wow!

Yeah I am seriously impressed by his acting this season...
The way he was sweating it out at that meeting regarding the apartment he rented for he and Dale... MAN!
Then the scene with Nikki! I agree he totally knocked it out of the park. It was probably the most powerful scenes this episode, in my opinion of course.

I also agree that Matt Ross hit it out of the park in that scene with Nicki, he's been brilliant all season and definitely deserves an Emmy.
Alby was a mess and I think he's feeling he doesn't deserve to be loved now, hence ghost Roman showing up again in his head.

Yes, the only person that he feels like knew the real Alby and loved him anyway, died for it. I am afraid when he discovers what Lura is sorry for (outing Dale to his wife) her life will not be worth a nickle.

I dont think Alby knows why Dale hung himself. I dont think he knows that Lura outted him to his wife, or that she was the one behind the rumors getting circulated prior to that.
her face when he says "for what?" .... she had no idea he hadnt connected her to it.

Yeah I bet she feels responsible... Like Dale found out she outed him to his own wife so he hung himself.

um, that would be pretty accurate guilt to feel - thats pretty much what happened isnt it?
Not saying they wouldnt have been outtted otherwise, or that lura is soley responsible for dale's reasoning in taking his own life. But seriously, between being confronted by bill and then lura going to his wife - i think that was the final straw & she was the "source" behind all of that outing.

Alby already knows Lura was flapping her gums about him and Dale to Bill, Nicki told him that. But I don't think he knows she outted them to Dale's wife. I think that if Alby ever gathers himself together somewhat, either Lura is going to meeting Heavenly Father soon or Alby will make her life such a living hell she'll wish he'd kill her.

That was such a good scene.
Matt Ross has done such a good job with his role this season.

Well, he could always do what he did to Adalene and seal her to JJ!

That was agreat scene--- really felt for Alby- he truly loved dale so many people discussed the fact that Alby wasn't wearing his shoes when he was found hanging last week---- do you think this is why alby was dancing barefoot & the song was regarding feet(boots aswell)----
I had also thought that when Alby was found barefoot it signified that when we ae buried-- we are barefoot now Alby dancing around barefoot--- he is dead inside as well

Bare feet does signify death (like people have speculated Paul McCartney's bare feet on the cover of Abbey Road were intentional to fuel the rumor that Paul was dead). I think the song was significant, too. Alby wasn't playing a sappy love song, an "I miss you so much" song -- he was playing a song of revenge: "You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin and you keep thinkin' that you´ll never get burnt. Ha! I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah and what he know you ain't HAD time to learn. These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do -- one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you." I think Alby knows that Lura drove Dale to suicide. And his refusal to acknowledge her apology is just the beginning.

LOL yes it would be pretty accurate guilt to feel... For a normal person with a conscience. I think I was just so thrown by Lura's asking for forgiveness because I've always seen her as a person with NO conscience at all. It is hard to see her actually feeling sorry. I would think she would be happy Dale is dead and getting a beer out of the cooler to celebrate the way she did regarding Roman's death. LOL!
