Alby is a complete mess and his conscience (Roman) is really sending him off of the deep end. That scene with him dancing around to that picture of him and Dale together reminded me of the cross dresser in Silence of the lambs lol! I was waiting to see him in drag with his weiner tucked between his legs! OMG!!!!!!! I always laugh at that scene in that movie, ALWAYS. your comment was funny as hell to me.

I even think Joe Dirt's little version with Buffalo Bob was funny too! LOL! I would love to see Alby start wearing Lura's prairie dresses.

Alby is not a transvestite. Nicki was on the right track in outfitting his gayness. Fashion that will detract from his weirdness and accentuate his handsomeness.

well I think Lura did waht she did out of jealousy-- she truly loves alby, and now probably does feel remorse when she sees him in such pain--- though If I were her I'd try to keep my mouth shut, just be there to console him, as he will be ruthless when he finds out she had something to do with this

Alby may not know about Lura going to Dale's wife though. I still think Lura loves Alby's position of power and not Alby himself. And I think her asking for forgiveness is more her trying to save her skin from his wrath than her feeling bad about Alby's pain.

I have to agree with mellkell here. I think Lura does love Alby in her fashion, otherwise she wouldn't be so remorseful for the pain she has caused him. And yes, fearful that he will find out and banish her. When she realized that he was having the affair with Dale, she was so upset, not just angry.
Of course I tend to see the romantic side. I should change my name to Pollyanna [g]. And I really adore Anne Dudek. What a fine actress and what a delicious character!

Without him, she isn't getting into the celestial kingdom. By trying to end the affiar, she is looking out for her afterlife too. And she does seem to love him, after a fashion.

Oh God, I have never felt this way about Alby. The site of him dancing with the photo was heartbreaking. I hate to see him alienate Nicki as she is his only source of support. Lura needs to be tortured, make it long and painful! Props to Matt Ross, amazing work this season.

I used to absolutely HATE Alby... But this season has changed all that. I actually have a weird kind of affection for him now.
That scene with him dancing around with the picture made me sad, but at the same time I was expecting him to go over the edge too. I really thought we were gonna see him in panties or something lol!

That scene with Nicki puzzled me - "We could go away?"
She would leave Bill and go off with Alby? Huh?
It was almost like she was trying to persuade a lover to run away with her. They are SUCH a messed-up family!

They are SUCH a messed-up family! I didn't get that vibe at all, I think she was merely suggesting that he get away from Juniper Creek and come live at her place until he got himself together and got a new life for himself. Of course I don't think Bill would have been thrilled with Alby moving in to Nicki's house, but that's just too bad...LOL.

I got the feeling like she meant, "We can get away from Juniper Creek for good." I didn't find it creepy or weird at all. I saw it as a sister who sees her brother going through a really tough emotional time, and trying to get him into a healthier and better place, both physically and emotionally. If it were my sister, I'd be the same way.

We shouldn't forget what Alby and Lura have on each other - she was the one who administered the horse tranquilizers to Roman, with Alby's enthusiastic consent. She is definately Alby's version of Adalean. Did Lura really do it for love, or for power?

Well, while they do have things on one another alby said last season to Bill that he truly loved Lura & this season when she was shown parked outside the aprtment he was sharing with Dale, she seemed truly heartbroken & crying---- she may have supecting alby was gay but this relationship that he was taking such riskd to have hurt her deeply-- she did it because she wasa woman scorned & I truly belive when she was banging on the door- she felt bad for him --now how alby will react to ther actions is another story-- she may have to blackmail him just to saty alive

The look on his face when she gave him the designer jeans. It was like she was saying, "Hey, you are gay. You should be that. You will look pretty in these." And he understood. Just... Wow! That's such a cool explanation of what happened. I didn't think about it like that, I thought she was only trying to get him to look more normal, since she was changing her own clothes. Thanks for sharing ;D
