How crazy was the whole episode?
And is it just me or do the Mexican Polygamists kind of know how to party?

Lois was right, though. Hollis was taken in completely by Ben's request for an appeal. Nuts.....

I don't understand why they let them appeal at all (except of course to make the story line work). They were ready to shoot and he just requests one and they are like, well, all right.

I think Hollace and Selma are just that nuts..
They truly believe they control a legally binding court because they really believe Hollace is the one true prophet...
I think there was also some sick pleasure in knowing they were going to sweat out their demise for another hour too.
He said they could appeal, then they would be sentenced to death. So he had no intention of taking their appeal seriously.
Plus they had one hell of a party waiting for them.

Showing up to your own party with blood splatter and brain matter on your clothes is just tacky. Ben's appeal allowed them to go nice and clean. Plus Hollace still had two arms. lol

I agree that they are all nuts! It's like the most effective form of brainwashing that I have ever seen. They really do act as if they're way is the sovereign way.
Yours Truly,
Hollis Green
lol

Speaking of the Greens, what happened to the guards that Hollis said he would post "to welcome our guest" (Bill). . Hollis has poor security because Joey was able to gain access to him with no trouble whatsoever. Never mind that Bill was able to rescue his mom, son and his dad who had a bad back and had to be carrried by Bill

Zoar seems like another case of bad editing, they probably planned a confrontation but the time constraints didn't allow for that; but they left in that part with Hollis grabbing the phone...

Zoar - I agree. Where were the guards? This is something that was bothering me too. I have a lot of things like this that are bothering me about this season though. I still love this show, but this season is just off the hook crazy!
