Well we have just moments before the show starts. I'm not going to like it in 9 weeks when we makes the final thread.

The preview is looking good. A wedding, "we are a family that works", and they go right up to the last minute. But for a pre-show it sucked. lol
Don appears to be on at least one episode!!

I'm not sure I'm buying camping in winter. Why takes their children out into the middle of nowhere when there is snow coming in with just a few tents?

Was anyone else not feeling it tonight?
Marge needs to run away with Goran and Ana. I can't stand Goran and Ana, but I have to believe the emotional abuse would be, if not better, than at least more constructive.
Barb's wine tasting. I am kind of curious to see what kind of drunk she is. My guess is that she is the kind of drunk that really needs to get things off her chest. And then she'll cry and talk about what a terrible person she is.
Nicki is usually my favorite character, but jeez. But the whole Tomato head incident was the closest we came to a WTF moment.
On the bright side, Bill is now the leader of the Polygamist Underground.

What I don't understand is why Adalene was locked in some underground dungeon for?

Liked the Episode.
Camping in the winter is not that hard, a tent, ground cover, and a good sleeping bag are all you need. The little one should have known better about where to 'go'
I loved the tomato head scene. I didn't like the group of kids beating up the son (cannot remember his name), but I am of the opinion the kid will NOT tease anyone like that again. A bully is a bully and sometimes a bully only learns when he himself is bullied.
I didn't like the guy who insinuated incest between Bill and his daughters. I think Bill was right to fire him. But of course, he was hired back (to make trouble later I am sure)
I wonder how they are going to end the show? will we learn anything beyond 2011? (I am thinking the ending of "Six Feet Under" where we see a little into their lives after the show ended)

My husband really enjoyed the show, but I felt a little let down by it.
I really feel that if they had to have a wife hit the bottle, it made much more sense for Margene. She has at least drank before. All series long, it has been obvious that if Barb were to leave Bill, she would go back to the Mormon church. This angle just doesn't make sense to me. If she wanted to explore life without needing Bill, I think she should have done other things - not stuff that is against her core beliefs.
Not a fan of how quickly everything was patched up between Don and Bill.
Are they trying to make Cara Lynn the next Rhonda? She talks about how she used to get in trouble, but how you can get away with stuff is you are polite and helpful. Interesting.
While not a fan of the Ana/Goran storyline, I do agree that it would be better if Margene went with them in the end. Ana has always been good for her, while she has never really had any kind of relationship with Nikki and her relationship with Barb was much more mother/daughter. With how unhappy she is, it would do her well to get away from the family for a while. I really feel sorry for her because she was against this from the beginning. Now it has cost her her business - the one thing that was really helping her to find her identity. She got screwed over in the deal.
I don't think we have heard the last of Adalene. She is one lady you want to stay in good with. She is capable of pretty vicious things and it would do Alby and Laura good to not keep her in the cellar too long.
Nikki teasing that kid was ridiculous.

What I don't understand is why Adalene was locked in some underground dungeon for? I think it was for burning up JJ and Melinda. That crazy wife said something to that effect when she let her out. For the life of me, I don't understand why Bill thought, he would be embraced by people after he exposed himself.

I think it would end really badly if Margene were to go with Goran and Ana. Margene is a very needy person and Ana is very independent. Temporarily, they might work out fine together, but for a longer period of time, I think Margene would get on Ana's nerves and she'd end up leaving her.

I was bummed by the episode. I had planned on doing a live replay but couldn't get into it. I didn't like the 20 second scenes that neatly wrapped up so many of the story lines that should have sent them reeling.

I thought it was weak.
One hour on how the family was spinning out of control? Eh, maybe but I wasn't feeling it for a full 60 minutes.
However, it was better than the other crap on TV. ;D

I was disappointed in the episode too. I felt too many lose ends were neatly tied up. I also thought the scene where Bill was making Margene sign the divorce papers did not ring true. It was odd that Ana gave Bill dirty looks as he forced Goran and Margene to sign the papers, but then she said, "And on a happier note, the baby is healthy...." I just didn't think that would have happened that way.
Also, didn't like the story line with Cara Lynn. Not that I don't like her, just that I feel like we don't have a lot of time left in the series, so why start another story line.
I also hated Bill signing in the beginning of the show - it went all way too long!

I agree with just about everything...especially that the singing went on toolong, lol. I have to say there is part of me that really wanted Bill to fall flat on his face. I was sort of disappointed when the other polys showed up at the end. I dunno... I guess that is good for the family and might help Barb out, but I just am so tired of Bill. I am really rooting for him to fail and have been for a few seasons. Nikki is extra terrible so far. I also hated Bill signing in the beginning of the show - it went all way too long!

I also hated Bill signing in the beginning of the show - it went all way too long! I know, right? I kept yelling "stop" at the tv. Watching Bill sing for an extended amount of time was just awful!! And the wives were all smiles. I wonder how many takes of that scene Bill Paxton had to do, because 1 is too much!! LOL

I actually liked the episode. It felt to me like it was finally slowing down and coming home. It was focused more on the family and how they function as a whole which I what I really like about the show. I thought the fight they had after the school board meeting was really fitting and nice to see. I also liked Bills singing, and it fit with the goofy stuff that family would do. Did anyone else notice what Barb was wearing it looked like she'd been doing Charlie Chaplin impersonations.
I think the storyline they are starting with Cara-Lyn is cute and I think she's too sweet to be the next Ronda. Ronda was annoying to the core, Cara-Lyn just seems like she's trying to be a kid. I did find it very strange that the family had Mountain Dew in the house considering all the caffeine in it.
I felt real bad for Margene losing her business, she was doing so well with it. I hope we don't have to see much more of Ana and Goran I was happy for their storyline to be wrapped up and thrown out the door.
And I was glad to see Don finally start to stand up a little to Bill.
