I'm telling you -- I can't wait till Alby finds out Lura is the real reason he lost his love. Can't wait! (cheezing and strumming my fingers one by one).

alby is pretty terrifying as he is broken-hearted and totally ruthless. he said he's going to purify the faith. that rings of "ethnic-cleansing" so i'm a little worried what he's going to do now. i like all the new story lines - i'm disappointed that the whole casino story is wrapped up in one line and those characters are just gone? wondering about the big house too. really can't wait to see what happens with nicki and her mother, with joey and wanda, all that on the compound. i'm surprised to hear people thought bill has changed - he seems exaclty the same. he has the delusion that he is guided by god and doesn't have to account for the contradiction he lives where he claims to be faithful but is totally corrupt. he doesn't mind bending all kinds of rules where politics/money are concerned, but won't allow his family to bend any.
glad to have some peeps to chat with about the show!

Part of the fun of really being into a TV show is the message boards! ;D
Plus, everyone has such good insights that it makes it more interesting for everyone.

Chaplin. Yes. Barb even had the moustash penciled on. The episode was slowing down, alright. Too slow, if you ask me. I guess I expected something more.

I was happy that they didn't change the intro. It's perfect--they are still all trying to find out if this is going to be their "home". I don't think any of them know for sure.
I hate Nicki now and I used to just love her strong commitment to the faith--now she has lost some of that. She was the rock and now she only cares about herself--and that is NOT what "her" religion preaches. I also can't believe that she was afraid to see the principal and instead bullied the kid herself. That's not like Nicki. The old Nicki would have marched right in that school--outed or not. No, that was bad and the kid hitting his mouth and the blood was shocking to me.
Margie is the one hurt the most. She could have been a millionaire with her business. I'm not sure if I totally agree what the shopping network did to her--but I think she has something else up her sleeve since she was listening to that "self-help" DVD.
I like that Don is back and in charge. It's the way it should be. That's really about the only thing I agreed with in the whole show.
I'm so sick of Ana and this baby I could scream. I really wish they would get rid of that storyline soon so it doesn't take up any more time in the 9 episodes we have left.
If I had to rate it I'd say 6 out of 10. We'll see what happens this week.
