Holy crap... If that phone call towards the end to Barb doesn't show Marilyn is a few french fries short of a happy meal, I don't know what does! She was like crying or something... Like making this attack on Bill about something she had gone through in the past. What do you all think?

I find Marilyn so much more interesting know that I know she is a fruit loop. She keeps talking about her loser ex-husband. I wonder if he was a Lost Boy or something odd. Of if he left her for a more virginal and fertile young woman. She is a bunny boiler. Thank goodness the Hendrickson kids don't keep pets.
And I feel like I should have known she was crazy. She and Wanda have the same hairdo.

LMAO! I didn't even realize it until you mentioned it about Wanda and Marilyn's hairdo's!
Yeah I'm thinking she's seriously mentally insane! Tommy said she is dangerous too!

Bill must remind Marilyn of her ex-husband. Or, someone else in her past that Marilyn felt did her wrong. Marilyn's attack on Bill seems very personal. Marilyn's behavior of creating problems to get hired seems to be something she does often.

I am loving all the fruit loops this season. It makes the Hendricksons look so normal. I mean really all Bill would have to do is explain Hollis, Marrilyn, and Wanda and he would look so normal everyone would look the other direction about the fact his has 3 wives.

Now that Bill knows that Marilyn has all of that information on him, Bill should get someone to investigate Marilyn. Bill needs to find out where Marilyn grew up, how she grew up, information on her ex husband(s), her financial statements, the people she does and has done business with.
I can't believe that Barb and Tommy are the first clients to figure Marilyn's angle out.
Pailey would have to have political adversary. Barb, Bill, Tommy and Jerry should give the information to Pailey's adversary. It seems as though Marilyn has been doing this type of business for some time. Pailey would be ruined if it came out. Pailey's adversary would not have to mention The Hendricksons, the casino, Tommy or Jerry. I think there would be enough information for Pailey to be put on an Congressional Ethics Trial, and, Marilyn too.

I unfortunately... Think Bill is going to win this senate race... Leaving more opportunity for drama with Marilyn next season. Bleh.

I actualy dont think marilyn is fruit loops - at leats not in a hollis, or walkers kind of way.
I'm not sure what is that she's identifying with on such a personal level where Bill is concerned - maybe to her he just epitomizes all those who have harmed or shaped her rolled into one. Her phone call to Barb - made her seem more human to me. I think she felt geenuine affection for barb , and i didnt think so before now. it may have been crazy for her to make the call, but what she said was pretty spot on if you ask me.- compromises barb has made, trimming her concience to adapt to bill's desires, etc. I think she did it as a warning to barb, and to leave her with some "food for thought". I didnt feel she was being viscious to barb. I felt it was her way of saying "listen sister, before this blows compeltely up (and it will) here's something to chew on - i understand you b/c in a lot of ways i am you."
she was saying goodbye to barb that she liked and related to, b/c now she's going to destroy them.

I don't know what is up exactly with that Marilyn but she is having some serious mental health issues. She really needs to find a therapit and work this out.
It seems personal with Bill, for some reason.
Why does Marilyn care so much about Bill anyway? It's some local Utah election, no big deal.
It's like she hooked onto him for some reason...

I agree with JJ77. I don't think she is crazy at all. I think her ex-husband was probably a chauvinist jerk and Bill immediately reminded her of him when he assumed she was the secretary. then he did treat her badly so it is so personal for her. I also thinks she likes/liked Barb. She was Barb - she was the woman that was always behind the man and putting away her own ideas and morals for her man. I think it hurts her to hav eto do this to Barb but she won't let Bill get away with it.
I don't particularly like her but I still really want to see her bring Bill down.

It's like Marilyn is reliving her own life through Barb/Bill.
That's not really the sign of an emotionally healthy person. To get so deeply involved in another's life, like it's your own hurt and your own life? Then to lash out in anger at Barb/Bill. She might not like Bill but it's not HER husband or HER life so who cares that much? Go back to your lobbists scams.
She was sitting, alone at night, drinking and watching Margene's on air goof with that Ben situation?
I don't think normal people do this...become so deeply involved in the lives of others.
Marilyn has some issues of her own to work out.

With Roman dead, Marilyn is the new burr under Bill's saddle and vice versa. She truly dislikes the man. . . ok, hates the man. Personally, I think she's spent so many years in Washington, that this is par for the course -- too much power to do whatever the hell one pleases at the expense of others. She's a drunk and worse yet, she's a mean and calculating drunk in emotional pain. Better watch out, Bill!

Maybe it's actually more of an affection for Bill... some kind of love hate dynamic in play there.
I thought that I sensed a little bit of sexual tension between Bill and Marilyn when she first appeared on the scene. A sense of hidden recognition. I've been watching/waiting for something to surface out of his past? Maybe a college flame gone bad or something?
...And how did he know she was a dishonest liar? He no way got enough experience with her on is Washington visit to be so adamantly polarized against her.

I definitely do not want to see Bill destroyed. To destroy Bill is to destroy the whole family. And the man who offered to die for his family is not all bad, not even close. He is annoying, true, but he is not evil, and he always means well. Up till now, none of the wives have stood up to him. They, in essence, have given him free rein all this time. I was going to say that marriage is a two-way street, but in this case, it's a 4??? way street.

I noticed a little sexual tension too. Bill wants to conquer her and Marilyn finds Bill annoying and chauvinistic-it's kinda sexy to her.
