wow...what a rush to see it again after all these years.
Did you have the Deja Vu feeling as you watched?
Lots of details I had forgotten.

It was fun to watch Joey & Wanda together walking in w/Wanda having a grip on Joey's arm. Oh, and seeing Frank laying in the floor, while Lois says to Bill, "he'll be OK"; that's the same thing Lois said about him when he fell & broke his hip/leg? in the next to last epi or so. Where she said he'd been laying there for 3 days, "I got him a pillow" LOL, that's our Lois!

I've gone back and started at season one with my SW because she wants to catch up. I find it really hard not to let spoilers slip out!
I find it really interesting to observe the tone of things too. Although there were certainly still issues and drama, things are much "lighter" at the beginning of the show. I did/ do feel bad for Margene. As someone who came into my family at the age of 18 and became an "instant mother" I can tell you how big of a learning curve it all is. Seven years later I am just now starting to feel competent, but I still wouldn't be able to sew a costume hehe

The scene with Margene keeping her baby plus Nickies (Wayne & Raymond) was a hoot. While she's on the phone, one is spillling food onto the floor, while the other is peeing in the floor. That's a lot to deal with. Espcially when experience isn't on one's side! She asks Barb twice, when are you coming home? Poor Margene!

Great! Lets talk season 1. Did you notice the set for Barb's house is different in the pilot than in the subsequent episodes. When Nikki runs up the stairs to bug Bill about money, it is a spiral type staircase. In later episodes it is just a straight staircase. Bill and Barb's bedroom looked different too.

Plus, the front door from the interior was a double door but the front door seen from the exterior was a single door. The dining room and table were completely different, too. Margene's kitchen was different as well.

I was grossed out when she was changing the baby's diaper on the kitchen table! YUCK! And, I was afraid she was going to leave the baby on the table and chase one of the other kids.

Poor Margene!I was grossed out when she was changing the baby's diaper on the kitchen table! YUCK! And, I was afraid she was going to leave the baby on the table and chase one of the other kids.
That takes me back. I remember when I gave birth to my first child at the late age of 26. I was alone in Frankfurt Germany. My ex-husband (we were married at the time) was a soldier in the Army Band and I was alone most of the time. I had no one with me and I was so afraid I was not going to be able to take care of my son alone. I had never even held a newborn before. When we took him home from the hospital, I kept thinking, suppose I kill it? Suppose I drop it? I couldn't even sleep the first couple of nights because I was just so nervous. I remember giving him a sponge bath the first time. I did almost drop him. I didn't know how soft newborn baby skin is and I had too much soap in the little bowl of water I was using. He was so slippery and I almost dropped him. To this day, when I think back on it, I am amazed at the instincts God puts in us. That little boy, (less than a week old at the time), grabbed on to my arm and held on like an Olympic gymnist, to keep from falling. I was 26 years old and overwhelmed with just one. I would have lost my mind if I was Margene. Plus, some people are just not good with kids. Margene reminds me of myself. I love my children and I learned as I had more, but I have NEVER been one to enjoy keeping other people's children. It is a gift. Another thing. When we were in Germany, I played the piano for a little missionary church there. All mothers who had kids that stayed in the nursery had to take turns keeping the children in the nursery. I was no exception, even though I played the piano. I dreaded it when my time came. I hated hated hated nursery duty and if I was Margene, I would have been a mess!

I noticed one interesting thing that prostitutes escortinrotterdam.info are interesting girls instead of usual chics. I don’t know why but this is so true. They are so good in sex.
