Of course we all seen Bill's ghost watching over all the wives at the end, which got me to thinking..
I think the general concensus around here was that when Alby kept seeing/hearing Roman's Ghost that it was just part of Alby's mental state, that he was just crazy and imagining it.
But now we know it was definitely plausible.
Was Roman's ghost really there taunting Alby? Can Bill's ghost communicate with the wives like Roman's did with Alby?
Guess all of this is a moot point, just wanted a penny for your thoughts.

In my mind there is a difference in a ghost and a spirit. Roman's ghost, if it was a ghost, was tormenting Alby. I personally believe that the "ghost" was Alby's unresolved feelings toward his sexuality. He does not accept himself, so he projects the rejection into his father who rejected him in life.
Bill's spirit was present in the room because the three women were remembering him and his presence in their lives. Like the Warren Zevon song says, "Keep me in your heart for a while." In her final blog, Margene says something like "Bill is here, in our hearts."
Just an arbitrary distinction, but I would say that if the memory of a dead one raises fear and anger, it's a ghost. If the memory raises feelings of love and comfort, it's a spirit.

Alby is a fictionalization of Warren Jeffs. Warren claims in his dictations that he is merely a voice for his father, who was still leading the work from his grave. You can view Warren Jeffs entire autobiography here: fldsrecord.wordpress.com/2002-2/Enjoy.
