This is my first post, but I have been reading this forum for the past two seasons.
I'm having a few people over to watch the finale. I plan to make some of the food that was shown in different episodes. Anyone else going to do something special?

Open lasagna pumpkin! That was the dish that Nicki was so excited about when she was planning Wayne's birthday in the first season.

Waffles, from the oven. And, of course, a big scratch made cake for Barb. Recipe in the Joy of Cooking.

I'll peel the potatoes. If I can get Lois, Wanda, Barb, Nikki, and Margene to help.

uh, HOW could you forget the carrot raisin salad? Minus the spit from the Juniper Creek cop. KimLA reminded us of the salad. How could we ever forget the cop. Just gross!

Oops missed KimLa's post. However Nicki has made it twice. Once with the cop and once yelling at Margene. How about the Easter ham with the little marshmellows? They are Frank's favorite.

Now that sounds like a lotta fun. Anything with food, kwim? But by all means, do not forget the gazpacho, that cold vegetable mexican soup that Barb made for her sister. Too much funny. It carried an entire long thread on the HBO blog. lol How to make it: www.suite101.com/content/how-to-make-gazpacho-a119215
