OK, so I was sitting here thinking - and all of a sudden it hit me...what's going to happen to Margene's business? Wasn't she in partnership with Jerry Flute's wife in that she provided the Indian labor that made the jewelry? Would Jerry forbid his wife to have any dealings with Margene due to his hatred (according to Marilyn D) of Bill? Any thoughts?
I hope I started this thread in the right place.

I was wondering that too. Right now the Flutes are pissed at Bill, but I do not think they hold the wives accountable. I think the more they did business with Bill, the more they realized what a moron he is. The Flutes covered up a lot of shit for Bill and now he has left them high and dry so it is possible they will do the same to the wives in order to hit Bill where it hurts. I think unfortunately though, it is all moot now because now that Margene is outed as not only a polygamist, but a complete bold faced liar to her toastmaster club...Her career is OVER! I cannot imagine Bev allowing her back at the station after that.

Then again, Bev might be of the mindset that any publicity is good publicity and not care! I don't think that Margene would be cut off from purchasing the Native Women's jewelry; they are always seeking a market.
