I have noticed quite a few people on the boards, inspired by the show or otherwise, are reading or have read books relating to ex members of the flds.
So i wondered if anyone would be game for a book club? (with a theme so to speak)
I am currently reading "escape" by carolyn Jessop, but I have a mile long list of books written on or about the subject of polygamy and the flds.
Might eb interesting to get discussiion going.
anyone game?

Hi
me too...I've read most of the polygamy related factual books out there (aside from a small handful not readily available over here). I'm Intrigued about poly fiction, any examples?

Club as a leisure activity. Its peculiarity is in regular and long meetings of book lovers in a certain place, as well as the lack of direct contact with publishers. Books are provided exclusively by club members from personal libraries. Regulars believe that the main advantage of club meetings is a warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere.

Club of cultural and social significance, the main task of which is to increase the cultural level of readers. The peculiarity of this club is its similarity to the literary cafe of the Silver Age: here a visitor can have a cup of coffee, discuss what he has read, meet with a writer or director, see an exhibition, etc.
