If there is going to be a death I would bet on it being Adalene. She knows too much and JJ cannot control a woman like her. The preview shows JJ and his son, with his son holding a cell looking disturbed. I bet they are deciding how to report Adalene's death.

I agree with an earlier post that the family will be exposed as polygamists and we will have to wait until next season to see the public's reaction. Or Bill's "affairs" will be brought to light by Marylin. Also I think more will develop between Barb and Tommy and Nikki may or may not find out that JJ is up to something crazy with both her and Adaleen.

I want to see Don for a few minutes before the season ends. Maybe, he "goes postal" at Bill's inauguration. Fade to black - see ya next season LOL

ITA about Don, geez. He walked away from Home Plus and just kept walking... no mention of him anywhere or Peg. I thought he had some dealings with the Casino?

She is one of my favorite actresses on the show.

Really good ideas have been proposed. For me, something significant has to happen to stop everyone dead in their tracks and evaluate where they are and where they're headed.
I agree that Bill's profuse sweating was odd - perhaps he's going to collapse from a heart attack. He's taken to the hospital, and his "wife" can stand bedside, but which one will be selected? Probably Barb.
I also think that Bill will win the election, but due to his precarious health, he might not be able to be sworn in. Assuming, in soap fashion, he recovers, and is healthy enough to serve, then Marilyn will again rear her ugly head and blackmail Bill -- she knows everything, and Bill will have to make a choice: political office or polygamous lifestyle. Perhaps he chooses the lifestyle, but once that's out in the open, he can no longer live in the "new big house" with everyone, so he has to return to Jupiter and take the helm.
I don't know -- my ideas are just guesses, like everyone else's. But something has to happen to re-focus the show; it's going in too many directions at once, and they don't make some decisions, I fear the audience will walk away. 9 episodes was too short; I heard next season will have 10 - not much better, unless fewer stories are told, at greater depth.

After Dale's death, I thought the cliffhanger would have to do with Alby becoming so unhinged that a Waco type situation would occur at the compound. And of course this would eventually set Bill up to become the next prophet.
Now with all the other plots seeming to overshadow Alby's storyline, I have no idea what's going to be the big finish but I'm suspecting Nicki will find out she's pregnant next week...but we won't know it's Wanda's and JJ's baby or Nicki's and Bill's!

My husband keeps teasing me that it will be another Soprano's "fade to black" with no resolution ending. Now really, I would probably cry if that happened.
I think it will end with all of the wives except one leaving the house(s). I still think this "Till Truth Do Us Part" quote is a real foreshadowing that this season will end with mostly everyone split apart because many truths will be realized in this last episode.

If they do this the way they did the sopranos I'll never watch another HBO series again! I used to love the Sopranos, but the last few seasons sucked ass in my opinion and the ending sucked the most ass of all. (excuse my language lol)

I certainly hope in the cliffhanger we see Don again-- even if only to tell Bill off though I'd prefer him to exspose him-- did you hear Bill complaining about not having Don to help him at home Plus-- he is so narscicistic-- he ruins the mans life and shows no remorse just complaints that he has to work a little harder==

Good point about Don. However, even though they don't state this in the show, can we assume that Bill is still paying Don? I know a lot of people on here don't like Bill but I really, really don't think he would leave him penniless and ruin what he has left of his life. I think Don is being taken care of until Bill wins and then he will come back. Just IMHO.
