Did anyone else catch this? When Bill was doing the radio interview the dj says since dale's death Bill has been apointed the new acting trustee of the ueb funds.
Bill goe son to say that he "intend to clean up the rot of this compound for the benefit of all utah."
what do you think this will mean? It has to pan out with some significance , right?

I don't know but I'm sure it is going to make Alby more suspicious of Bill. Alby may believe that Bill killed Dale so that Bill would be the new acting trustee of the UEB.

I think Bill 's new appointment and his comment (quoted above) may set the stage for next season and his returning to the compound - if not physically living there, trying to run it , or dissolve it.
I dont know that Bill will become "prophet" but i do think that this position will alow him to change things there.
Remember his written proposal to Dale ? " preliminary plans for redistribution of UEB assets"
I agree this isnt going to go over well with alby, and it may be just the thing for him to focus his anger at.

I know Mormons aren't supposed to drink, but from the preview for next week Alby looked like he was on a week long bender, the poor guy.
As it relates to this, at this point I am wondering if Alby is going to be able to pull himself together enough to actually focus that anger, be it at Bill being trustee, Lura, the Church, etc.

JJ77, Dale before he died confessed to Bill that he and Alby were lovers. Given what Bill now knows about Alby, He could use that information should Alby give him any trouble. If it should become public that Alby is gay, the Juniper Creek community will oust him. That would leave a power vacuum and a chance for JJ to seize control. I tend to agree with you, eventually Bill will become their prophet. All past seasons have alluded to that future for Bill. This season is no different. |
