I get that nobody is perfect, and that whole speil about being tested and failing that Bill gave.
Still, at this point in the ballgame do you think his "intentions" will eb enough for his wives (esp. barb) now that more of his "actions" have come out in the open?
what's that saying? "we judge ourselves by our intetions and are judged by other base don our actions" (something liek that)
It was almost as if Bill thougth showing his wives the 9K sq ft dream he had (that little peice of action) would negate everything and show how true and just he was.

I think Bill wants a "Big House", just like Roman had on the compound.

I noticed how in a way that house looked quite a lot like the 'big house' on the compound. I believe this was deliberate on the part of the writers. Could this be a precursor to Bill starting his own compound?

My first thought was the big house on the hill. The ending music fit so well.

I was surprised that Bill thought that the wives would want to move in together. In one of the shorts between season 1 and 2 they had demanded that he get them each their own house! They previously were all living together, though in a much smaller house. Again Bill is assuming that everyone else will want what he wants.

I hope the house ends up being a rescue place for all the women and girls at JC who want to live free from "the prophet" and the pervs.

I think Bill wants a "Big House", just like Roman had on the compound. Ding*Ding*Ding - and - Ditto!!! Bill is sending them all a divine message: He is the one true prophet, and he WILL have his very own "Big House", and his many, many wives shall dwell in said Big House with him - Bill - The Big Cheese - The one True Prophet!

The wives seemed a bit horrified when they saw it. He was all proud and excited about it and they did not seem pleased.

I think the wives love having their own homes. Bill is so stupid and out of touch with his wives feelings that he doesn't even know that. Barb didn't even want Margene to live with her (season 3). Nicki didn't want Anna. And we all know that they didn't like living together previously. I didn't catch the Big House - Prophet connection but you are totally right. Bill is having Prophet Delusions.

If Bill does in fact buy that house, at this point it doesnt look like any of the 3 wifes he has now will be there. Maybe that is it, he will become phophet and take all new wifes.

i know this show is notorious for ignoring the kids, but like, if bill bought a new house and intended his entire family to move into it wouldn't that also mean relocating all his kids from their schools?
if he's really doing everything for his family, he must not consider his kids much! especially teenie as she's at that age if she's made to move... of course it could be in the same district, but i guess i'm just trying to point out that he doesn't consider them just as much as he doesn't his wives. and the wives at least "have a say" in theory!

The set up they have now is so ideal! Each wife has her own house that she decorates according to her taste, where she can stay with her children and have time with her husband in relative privacy. They have a large communal backyard. Regardless of the toil the lifestyle is taking on them, the set up is fantastic.

The argument for moving into three houses was because there wasn't enough room at the last place. I agree they don't seem to want to be together (Nicki trying to give Anna her nook etc), but perhaps a ginormous house would be enough to give them the same sort of separation. Or maybe not. I guess I feel a little neutral on the idea of them living together, I am not sure how the wives feel yet which is what actually matters.
However, I am pretty sure that if Bill wins the election the kids will have to move anyway. You usually don't get to be a congressman from the suburbs.

I dont see it working. Right now they each have their own house. When Bill's not with them because it is not their night-they get to lead their own lives in a way...Nikki can come and go as she pleases, Margie can dance around in her PJs and Barb had the slience she needed to work on her school work.
I cannot see any of them willingly to give that up so their stuck doing everything togther 24/7 in one house. For Nikki it would be too much of a throw back to her days at JC and by the end of the first week....Barb and Margie would be at each others throats as they clashed! Barbs still mad at Margene for crying out loud!
