Her own man....Yeah. Who should that man be though? They need to introduce another character to the mix to be an appropriate Marge love interest.

Margie's has had a tough life. I think her decision to enter the family reflects that. (my first attempt at quoting so hopefully it goes well) I agree 100%. Margene was looking for love and found an instant family. In some ways, it was a good choice. She has done pretty well for herself. Three healthy children, a spiritual husband, a home, a car, nice clothing and she is even starting her own business. Not bad for a 22 year old so she certainly did OK. I realize that she did not earn all those things herself but she still managed to get them. Margene is a complicated character and I believe she loves her family deeply. But something went very wrong in that Ben-Margene situation. Looking back, Margene did not handle that love letter from Ben right either. I think we talked about that on the HBO board and I thought that she should've put that letter out in the open and let Bill and Barb step in...they are his parents. Instead, it was hush-hush and all those secrets and look how it all ended.

Margene could have definitely done worse. And in my opinion, Margie has more than earned everything she got by putting up with Bill. And Nicki.
Still, IMO Margene needs to get out!

Margene has always been willing to bend over backwards to get approval from Bill, Barb and Nicki. She didn't get enough attention when growing up, and men have used her because she's cute. Remember the guy a season or two ago from Home Plus who told Ben that she was a great piece of ass? Then Ben went ballistic and punched him, and Bill made Ben apologize. Bill said something like "we ask our wives to get past their jealousies, and the least we can do is return the favor." Bill made a similar remark in the last episode, and so he knows he is being a jerk, and needs to get over himself. So Margene is not ticking me off, at least not as much as Bill is!!

Bill is being a terrible husband to his wives. And he is paying the price. All he does is use them. And use them. And use them.

Margene has a personality where she acts on impulse, her emotions get the best of her and that sometimes gets her in trouble. She has been like that since the first season.

Margene has a personality where she acts on impulse, her emotions get the best of her and that sometimes gets her in trouble. She has been like that since the first season. Mostly, Margene is just young and has not learned to think things through and consider the consequences of her actions. These are things that most of us learn from our parents while growing up. Margene did not have the best example from her mother and did not have enough time to finish growing up before she became a wife and mother. While she is still impulsive, I think she has made pretty good progress, considering her background.
