I have to say that as soona s bill began to open his eyes a little bit I was hopeful that the whole senate thing would fall apart. I had a feeling though that his heartfelt speach at the debate was going to win him some votes though, so i wasnt holding my breath for him to lose after that.
Do you think he'l win the election as well? Do you think Marilyn Densham is going to play a part (either way) on that front? or that his next opponent will dig up more dirt and "out" him?
I think Densham may help Bill get elected only to further her hold on his assets... she has him by the bals at this point it seems, I dont think she's gonna throw him under the bus ... I think she's gonna tighten her grip.
Now that he's won the nomination, and the actual senate race begins.. I thinkif he is not "outted" or atleats some of his dirt is not then this show ill have jumped the shark as far as realism goes. I just think it's going to be towards the end of his campaign.

I see Marilyn seducing him and then selling the pictures to the paper.

Seemed from the previews that she's going to try to get at Bill thru Barb.

I have no idea yet how this will play out...will definitely be interesting to watch. I know it's hard to believe that Bill won't have been "outed" in his campaign but there are some politicians we really don't know much about their past. I can think of one big one now, lol

Yeah I think since Bill helped rescue her daughter, Barb's sister and Ted have had a bit of a different attitude towards them.
Her sister still likes to get her digs in here and there, but they are seemingly getting along better.

LOL especially when you are the reason for the child's abduction in the first place.

LOL of course having and "in" with a potential senator and being in the papers doesnt hurt either... will be funny how barbs sister feels after they're outed as poly and she's had her face all over their campaign as well

I am sure the sister and brother-in-law are grateful, but I really feel they just want to hang on and be around someone important. They are going to run for the hills when Bill is exposed. I was hoping the whole senator thing would go away. He has too much going on and the writers are not developing any stories the way they should. This episode was the absolute worst this season in my opinion. There are a LOT of interesting stories in it (I will give them that), but they are all done so poorly. It seems like when you enter into a new scene, the actor walks in, spouts off his/her lines and then leaves or the scene cuts. The next scene with the actor is on to something else as if the last one didn't even happen. Margene's scenes were not very good this episode. They could have been so emotional (we know she is a great actress), but she had to deliver them so quickly they were just - blah. The same goes with Barb's breakdown. That whole scene with the three wives fighting should have been moved into a closed room with a shut door and lasted about 10 to 15 minutes - . Everyone just letting their feelings out. I agree with the original poster. If Bill isn't "outted" now that he is running for senator, then the show isn't being very realistic because we all know how the media is right now.
