If so maybe this show CAN make a difference. If anyone has any information about the "cruise" Margie went on several times please share.

I found this site RE: missionaries via ship go to help. Then there's a group for "Doctors" called "Doctors Beyond Borders" that I'm aware of.

I have a friend who goes on those trips but he is a retired surgeon who speaks fluent Spanish. He interprets for other surgeons who don't speak Spanish. The volunteers are all health care professionals who have specific skills.

Margene said she wanted to work in the galley. At least she doesn't think she is going to be taking care of sick people!

Yup. i don't know of any on cruises, but if you google international volnteering you'll get a lot of results.
