This thread is random, i know, but i thought it would be cool to share stories of meeting the cast in real life (if anyone here has met anyone from the cast, that is.) So have you? If you could meet any cast member in person, who would you want to meet and why?
Who I've met:
I met Anne Dudek (Lura) in 2007, while in Los Angeles. Me and some writer friends of mine picketed with her during the WGA strike. That strike went on outside of the film shoot for the movie Hotel for Dogs.
She was really nice by the way. Press took pictures of us, but i haven't had any luck finding them on the net. *bummer*
I haven't met Chloe Sevigny, although i see her time and again in the neighborhood I live in. I'm guessing we live close to one another since we go to the same Starbucks. lol "Why haven't you met her", you might be asking? Well, even though I am a huge fan of hers, i haven't gotten up the nerve to talk to her. I figured it would be rude and cliche.
Who i wish i could meet:
Amanda Seyfried. She's so beautiful. ,
Ginnifer Goodwin. She seems like she would have a nice personality. Get this; Every time i think about this it makes me sad:
I went back to Los Angeles in January. While in L.A, a friend thought it would be fun to go to a taping of Chelsea Lately. I told him to pick the next date available to reserve, on reserve, which he did. The crappy thing about reserving tickets to Chelsea is that you don't know who the guest will be when you reserve them. You don't find out who the guest is until a couple of days in advance & by the time you get the guest list, all of the tickets for that show are taken. So, the punchline of the story is this: The taping that I reserved tickets for had Ed Asner as a guest. *woooopiiieee, right?* Guess who was on the day after that? Just my luck, Ginnifer Goodwin.
So, i got unlucky by one day. I still want to cry about it. lol
So, have any of you met any of the cast? And who would you meet if you could pick anybody you wanted?
