The Kansas Compound, how much do we know?

Do you think the kansas compound is going to play into this season with any real relevance?
what do we know about it so far?

JJ came to JC from there.

I'm not sure it will play much more of a role than the Mexico compound did...Though I could be wrong.

Well, we saw Nicki watch on television something about raids on a compound in Kansas. From what was shown and what was said, I got the impression that they were basing it on the raid on the Texas compound (in real life). And JJ and Caralynn are supposed to have been living there. It may play a small part as the place that JJ and/or CaraLynn may return to.

Didn't Alby say something to Dale about building it up? And JJ warned Nicki to make sure that Bill doesn't touch it. I have a feeling it will play a larger role, but maybe still stay in the background.

I think as well if they do another season they may come up with a mass suicide or siege situation at the kansas compound storyline, just a hunch....

Definitely the YFZ Ranch. They also mentioned that the temple had been entered by the police, etc. and was defiled (my word, don't remember what they actually said).

My hunch, is that JJ played / will play some major role a the Kansas compound. (which I do beleive is modeled after YFZ after doing some reading on it) And though I dont thnk it is going to be the main focus of the season I do think it's going to play into the whole UEB assets/ state appointed trustee/ dale and alby thing.

Paxton said that Bill will take a trip to Mexico this season so we will be seeing at least one of the satellite compounds.

I think Kansas will come into play especially with Bill becoming prophet (lets all face it, the series has been leading to this since the get-go). It seems Roman/Alby granted JJ a fair amount of autonomy in Kansas. He's obviously a high-up or he wouldn't have been sealed to the prophet's daughter. However at the end of last season it seemed that he wanted to stay in Juniper Creek and now suddenly he seems quite keen to get back to Kansas.

And how much time has elapsed? Melinda didn't have cancer when we saw her last season.

I feel that there is definitely something up with JJ's wife, the one who is sick. Something is just off about her, seems like they have a plan of some sort, they seem to be allies not just husband & wife, imo. Their relationship reminds me of Alby & his wife's when they were plotting about Roman. Anyone have any ideas?

I find it interesting that you compared the two to Alby and Lura when they were plotting against Roman, because I think JJ and Melinda are plotting against Alby!

My theory is that there will be a fight for the Big House between Alby and JJ, but Bill will win in the end.

Aliensummer... That is an excellent idea! I think (now hearing your take) that is EXACTLY what is going on!

Maybe that is what JJ wanted Joey's help with in exchange for keeping those pictures a secret.

Maybe Bill won't win in the end. Now that Ben has been booted out of "the big house in surbia" he will take over the big house on JC.
