Big Love is the only HBO series that I watch. I will have to check to see how much HBO costs per month. I'm sure it's included in some type of packages with my cable provider.
I don't have any reason to keep HBO after Big Love ends. The only reason I do subscribe to the premium channels is because I have a child. The channels he watches are not included in basic cable & to add those channels it wasn't too much more per month to add the premium channels - so I did.
Does anyone watch any other show on HBO or any of the other premium channels? The previews for Shameless haven't seemed interesting to me. I've heard great things about Harry's Law but that's on NBC.

I do plan to stop HBO, as I still get other channels that the family watches more frequently & still stop HBO. Huh, I'll just keep watching HLN, Nancy Grace, The Nanny on Nick @ Night & become a viewer of Glee, I suppose.

Yes I plan to stop HBO when Big Love ends...and maybe even before if the next couple of episodes don't start making more sense.

Duets, When I'm up late I really do watch Nick @ Nite. I have for a long time - I'm hoping Nick @ Nite will start airing the 1950's shows again soon. They never did re-air Alf which upset me - it's the only show I know that has a puppet from outer space.
I don't watch Glee. Network Shows, I watch: The Middle, Modern Family, Community, Parks & Recreation. I've heard great things about Harry's Law on NBC. I honestly don't really care for Community or Parks & Recreation - but I really enjoy Amy Pohler & for whatever reasons feel bad for Chevy Chase. Plus, these are the shows the cool people in my family watch - so I.
It's too bad because I think Community could have been a funny show. It's actually evolved into something really weird.
Back to Nick at Nite: This current TV Time being aired is my least favorite. Seriously, do you know when they are going to move onto a different TV Time. Why can't they mix in I Love Lucy, All in The Family, Bob Newhart Show, Dick Van Dyke Show, Gunsmoke, Leave It To Beaver, Mary Hartman, Marty Hartman, Mary Tyler Moore, MASH, Odd Couple, MOONLIGHTING, Sanford & Son -- with their current line up.
Big Love is the only show I watch on HBO. I guess between Big Love I would watch The Sopranos.
I would like for HBO to make Big Love: The Movie which starts before where the series starts. I would even enjoy a Big Love Saga going into 1. Bill at Juniper Creek as a young boy, Younger Roman Grant 2. Bill & Barb College Years, Getting Married, Bill's relationship with Barb's family pre- The Principle, Bill & Barb visiting The Creek and seeing Nicki Grant Walker ... during this time it could be explained to me how Lois never knew that Roman's daughter was sealed to JJ & had a child with him - I would think of Lois as a savvy compound woman who knows everyone's business -- I can believe that during the time of Nicki having JJ's child Lois was too busy doing something else to keep up with Nicki 3. Barb getting sick & Nicki coming to live with Barb & Bill

I'm always up late @ night, usually til wee hrs, I love watching The Nanny, Fran Drescher is just soooo funny, she's like a modern Lucille Ball. I love all of the characters in the show. Then there's George Lopez, his mom is a hoot.

I really like True Blood so I won't be cancelling HBO soon I hope. Funny, but when HBO cancelled Carnivale and renewed Curb Your Enthusiasm (which I think should have been cancelled 6 years ago), I vowed I'd never watch another HBO series. Big Love was the first I watched since Carnivale and then True Blood came along.

I only watched Sopranos. Then got hooked on Big Love since the premiere was right after a soprano episode.
I'm totally dumping HBO. There is nothing on there worth anything. It's a premium channel so there should be good quality stuff on there but there isn't.
I'm into the History Channel right now.

I'm canceling. I like the dramas on FX and all the re-runs of House and Law and Order on USA.

I watched the Sopranos and Sex in the City. Big Love is the only show I watch now. I'm not getting involved with any other shows because I'm also canceling when this season is over.
On regular channels, I watch American Idol, Glee, Raising Hope, Rules of Engagement, and Two 1/2 Men. I spend a lot of time on the computer and find that more entertaining.

HBO seriously sucks in my opinion.
I also, only order it to see Big Love. I didn't have HBO the first time I saw Big Love... A friend of mine insisted I watch the show and sent me a burned copy (don't ask how he got it) in the mail for me to see the first episode. I was hooked after that... Got HBO... Caught up on the episodes I missed (first season this was) and have ordered HBO every year just for Big Love exclusively.

We were Sopranos watchers too, who got sucked in to Big Love, LOL...
But as long as True Blood is on, I think we'll definitely keep HBO. I was a huge Sookie Stackhouse fan from the books before it became a TV series. And we like a lot of the movies that come on HBO, and we have On Demand and enjoy the ability to re-watch episodes after their original airing.

You can try to catch up on Boardwalk Empire. I really LOVE this show, but as I said in another post if HBO screws up the last few episodes of Big Love I'm cancelling. If they screw up BL and already screwed up Sopranos am I going to give them my money for another 4 years? No. (no matter how much I love Steve Buscemi)

I definitely only subscribed to HBO for Big Love. Besides, I have Netflix so I normally used them for all of my movie viewing. I'm just counting down the weeks before I can save myself and extra $12 a month.
