Is Adaleen "working a situation" just like Niki told Adaleen how she (Adaleen) has the ability to work any situation with Alby - or was Adaleen being sincere with Alby when she went to him telling him she would never abandon him?

I said this in another post, but I honestly thought that Adalene was going to kill him when she walked into her office. She had her right hand inside her coat and I thought she mist have gotten her hands on one of the guns Bill was giving for Christmas. I thought her suddenly going to him was a bit random. I am very interested in seeing if Adalene is playing him or if they are going to have quite the unholy union lying and manipulating to get what they want (loved Alby and Nicki plotting in season 3).

On the HBO board Adaleen's Character Bio describes her as being bitter - which includes being impregnated by JJ Walker www.hbo.com/big-love/cast-and-crew/adaleen-grant/index.html#/big-love/cast-and-crew/adaleen-grant/bio/adaleen-grant.htmlAdaleen was sealed to JJ by Alby - correct? When Alby went to Adaleen's house, Adaleen told him "I was just doing what I was told." I'm not sure who is going to take Alby down: Lura or Adaleen - or maybe even Bill. When Alby was in love with Dale I was happy for Alby - also Alby seemed to be willing to give everything to be with Dale. I know Dale's death would have to be hard for Alby but still I would think Alby would know from being with Dale that happiness is out in the world for him. When Alby was holding Adaleen's head as they embraced I was nervous that Alby was going to break Adaleen's neck! I'm happy that didn't happen because Adaleen is one of my favorite characters! Lois is also one of my favorite characters & hate this story line of Lois having dementia -- Lois' antics were always amusing!

I thought he might snap her neck, too!
And I wouldn't put it past Nicki to kill Alby. She wants Bill to be the prophet. He believes in education, which is really close to Nicki's heart now and Alby is opposed to it. Plus, when she was talking to Cara Lynn, she was talking about how corrupt Roman was. Then she told Alby he was even worse. Nicki still has some compound in her and I wouldn't turn my back on her for a minute if I were Alby.

Originally I thought that Adaleen was totally using Alby but now that you guys posted that she is going for revenge, you might have a point there.
I can see it either way: Adaleen is a nobody now and is in bad shape so why not work the angle that her son is the Prophet?
Adaleen remembered the "evil monster" that Alby spitefully sealed her to and is out for revenge.
Interesting! That's why I like to come here and toss around ideas!

Southernsong & Marigoldmama,
I agree with both of you! I didn't know which angle Adaleen was working. If the season is supposed to end with the final showdown between Alby & Bill - it would seem Alby would need some people in his corner. Bill can't have Lura, Adaleen, Niki, ect. & Alby have no one - well no one that we're familiar with.
Adaleen could have stayed with Niki instead of going to to "The Creek." After Adaleen flushes the hormones she goes back & tells Alby "I'm pure now I wasn't before but I am now." Earlier Alby seemed angry that Adaleen was continuing the hormones.
Adaleen would have to be angry at Alby - or at least see Alby was wrong to seal her to JJ.
I don't know if Niki said those things about Roman to try to make CL feel better - I don't know if I believe Niki really could believe Roman was evil like JJ.
I do enjoy Adaleen so much & am curious to see where her story line ends in Big Love The Final Season.
