There are just too many twisted storylines to really predict much.
I really don't like the fact that everyone hates Bill now. I think his heart has always been in the right place. But he's human, he is going to make mistakes.
I just hope they stop the Ana storyline really quick. This is so boring to me. I think Bill needs to find out for sure if it's his child and then when it's NOT the storyline ends. I want to see more about the 3 wives than about her. However, I don't think this will happen. I think Ana will cause all sorts of trouble now that Bill is a public figure in a political office. Oh well.
Nicki--just like the theme song states "Is this my home?" It was obvious to me when they changed the song (if you listen to the words) that everyone, I think especially Nicki--is wondering if this is her home? By the way--that song is awesome, I wonder if the intro will be the same?
Margie--I think she will get huge backlash on the shopping network due to her "coming out". However, I think that she will also rise above it and find support in her audience. How? I don't know, but she just has a way about her that I think she can accomplish that.
Barb--I just think she is forgetting that without Nicki and her help that maybe she and her family, would not have made it through the cancer ordeal. Now that she's "ok" after all of the tests she went through, she seems to just forget about who helped her in the past.
Bill--I really do think he believes in "The Principle". I don't care how much everyone hates him for his other acts; I do think his focus is on the fact that he wants to be in the Celestial Kingdom with his wives and children. When he started branching out he had a strong family. He thought the family would see him through the hard times. But this backfired and now he really is basically alone unless Nicki turns around, and she might....although she did tell Margie that she didn't know if she loved Bill or not....another loose end here....
As far as prophet for Juniper Creek--I really think that Bill has no choice here. Who else is strong enough to take this over? Not his brother for sure.
So maybe considering all of that I can come to a conclusion....Bill will not keep all of his wives. He will become prophet out of necessity and step down from his public office. I just don't see what else he can do since he is still so tied to Juniper Creek.
All I have to say to HBO is please not to end this like The Sopranos. A black screen with "Journey" playing "Don't stop Believin'" is no way to end anything. Trust me I'm an indie film girl and I'm all with the ambiguous endings, however, this is not a movie that I just spent 2 hours watching, this has been years of Sunday nights planning my life around a show (ok call me stupid). There HAS to be a conclusion to all of this.
On an OT note--my husband says if Boardwalk Empire ends the same as The Sopranos that we are canceling HBO. It's ok with me since Big Love is all I watched after Sex and the City ended and the movies on there are just constant repeats. We are trying one more time with the ending of BL and BWE and we will see where it goes. We are just not getting interested in the other series, although we do love Bill Maher.
(forgive any spelling/grammatical errors please--I have a huge family party going on today for Christmas and I can't sleep even though I'm so tired from the preparations.)
So I guess in a few weeks...here we go!!!
Thanks for the email reminding us all to come back!
