Honestly i dont know how they're gonna wrap this mess up in one season, but i sincerely hope the effort is made to do so in a way that doesnt kill the general feel of the show.
Last season was so "busy" ( too many story lines imo) that i think it's likely some will never truly be wrapped up... hope i'm wrong tho - hate loose ends. lol
what do you guys think?

I think there will be MANY dropped story lines in order to accomplish wrapping this up.

Hi, fellow Big Lovers. I don't even remember whether or not I introduced myself last year or not. I'm bonnie, and like you, I sure do love this show.
I'm hoping that Nikki finds it in her heart to up and leave the marriage. Like Lois learning, for instance, that Utah is a community property state, Nikki has learned many things about the world that she was never exposed to before. I love her conniving ways, but I'm hoping that she can go out and find a real life for herself. Likewise, Margene. Margie is an "it" girl. She's got it, and now she needs to use it to make a success of herself.
Can't say that I care too much for Barb. Somebody, please! remind me of why I should.
Bill's going down.
Can hardly wait to see this new house of theirs. From what I remember, it looks like a haunted mansion.
Let's discuss, bonnie

I'm with you Bonnie, regarding Nikki especially. I want to see her leave Bill and go 2 states over with her kids and find Ray.
Margie on the other hand, annoys me. I used to like her but the last 2 seasons I liked her a lot less. She seems more into the marriage for the whole "trophy wife" aspect of things rather than actually loving Bill. I want to see her meet a man she really loves and ditch too.
I think Barb and Tommy should have an affair and she should stay with Bill and continue to go back and forth between the 2 men so Bill has to take his own medicine for once. He won't be able to leave her because he's in the public eye and needs at least one of his wives by his side. Hahaha I would love that!

Nikki is my girl. I'm with you, except I forgot all about Ray. Ray!!! I just loved the scene where he tossed the jelly bean on her desk. That's what I mean about her. She started learning about the world when she popped that piece of candy in her mouth. I don't know why the writers gave her Cara Lynn to worry about. She will have to do the right thing for her own daughter and that could slow her down. No?
Margie? In my mind, Margene is still a confused little girl. You could be right about her wanting to be a trophy wife with the "power," as her mother pointed out to her. I see her as trying to fit in and help Bill with the casino because in her mind, she finally found a place for herself where she is loved and accepted. (Let's face it, her own mother was no mother of the year. That was Barb after all.) Margie's gonna realize that she doesn't need all that baggage. I told you she's the IT girl. It'll come to her that she can be the next ... who? ... Joan Rivers? ... the new queen of the TV jewelry sales.
Barb and Tommy? I would love to see that, expecially the way you called it. (Her going between the two men.) She hated it when Bill wanted a "night off" once a week so we know she enjoys his "company". But having the affair with him bothered her too. I don't exactly know what she wants. Does she just want to get into her mom's good graces? In that case, Barb's life is messed up no matter what she does.
I still say, bring back Terrible Rhonda and let's see her wipe that innocent look off the kid's face. (Ben's)
Thank you so much for answering my post. It was fun predicting season five with you.
Who-hoo! January is right around the corner.

Geeze! I'm full of it tonight ... I'm not done yet.
Wanda and Joey? The writers have got to do something good with them, no? They're compound people, and I don't see them as ever leaving that place. Lois either. They are all such true believers in the Principle that maybe Joey will wind up as the new prophet. Sorry about the axing of Kathy, though. She sure was a problem for Wanda.
Bruce Dern is so excellent. If there's anybody on that show that I love to hate, its his character.
Thanks for sending the email inviting us all back. Appreciated it.

Here's one more thing and I promise I'm going to bed.
Have you seen the promo for BL yet? Big snowball fight, Bill smiling; ladies all disappear, Bill looking blank. Almost as funny as when everybody left him behind at the pilgramage and he had to walk to the hotel with the time capsule under his arm. Now, that was funny - his blisters and all. (I think I don't much respect him. What's happening to me? I'm not usually this nasty.)

LOL Bonnie... You are just getting excited about the upcoming season... So am I! I just can't help but be totally let down that it will be the last. There is no other show on T.V. that is quite like this one. I mean yeah they came out with that whole "Sister Wives" reality show crap... I watched it... It was mildly interesting but it wasn't anything as fun to watch as Big Love. I'm not a reality T.V. type of person though. I think it is overrated and annoying in a lot of ways. I would love to see Joey become the new prophet and take the big house. He and Wanda end up with a few more kids at least. I would like to see Wanda kill off Frank once and for all... With Lois's help of course... I wonder what will happen with the baby that Nikki's mom was carrying... You know the JJ/Cara Lynn hybrid? LOL! I wonder if they will show her having the baby or what is going on with that. Also I am dying to know how they will explain away the fire that burned JJ and his miserable wife to their deaths. I don't think Cara Lynn will slow Nikki down anymore than her other 2 boys would. Women with children have a way of making it in this world as single mother's all the time. I think that Cara Lynn has been more of a motivation for Nikki to get out of this lifestyle because she doesn't want to see her daughter have to go through the same things she went through. I didn't see the promo, I don't think. Will check the HBO site for it though. More than anything, I just hope this season is a good one. Nothing is more annoying than dropped story lines and last season there was WAY too much of that going on. We were just sort of "expected" to understand why things were the way they were with no explanation and that was really difficult.

You know, thanks. I see your point about Nikki making it AND helping her Cara Lynn.

You know what else I want to see???
I would like to see Ana go public about her baby with Bill. LMFAO...
She can do Maury, Oprah, Montel... What have you and totally blow Bill's entire world apart.

I love all the predictions you're all coming up with. I'd like to see them really focus on the family and how coming out is going to impact all of them. I think I read ages ago that they were casting a school teacher so that would be cool to see how this will affect all the children. I can't imagine that would be an easy thing.
I never really liked the Ana and Goren storyline, I hope they can wrap that one up real quick. Is Margene still married to Goren? That seemed to get a little gray at the end there.
I could quite easily see the family pull apart they've set the story lines up well enough for that to happen but I don't think I want them too. I'd like to see them all pull together, for Bill to realise he was wrong and for the family to become stronger.

I can hardly wait! Let's get the party started!!! Ok., at the very beginning of the series, I liked Bill. He was the ultimate husband and father. He worked hard and had to put up with a lot of drama from his business, former contacts at the compound and also within his family unit. But, in the last few seasons; he has become a person who is selfish and greedy to say the least. I hope the writers will take him down - either all of his wives and children or some of them leave and become independent of him. And has for the Homeplus & casinos, I hope that his partner takes over the ownership. (maybe, the government puts him in jail for failure to pay taxes. As far as the casino I hope that he's busted for the way he treats the immigrant workers. The final episode shows how he is left alone with nothing in jail. He than can begin to think about his relationship with God & his family. He'll have the time to think about how he can rebuild his life behind bars.

I think the season will end with Bill losing all his wives. The new promo shows Bill and his wives in a snow covered forest and they break into a snowball fight. Afterwards the scene changes. It is the same forest but now it is night time and Bill is all alone. It gives one a feeling of loneliness and isolation.

I think they will end up moving back to Juniper Creek. The way he came out last season, means they really can't hide anywhere else.

This is a long one. My Predications:
Bill loses everything and eveyone but Nikki. The two of them and her now 3 kids move to the big house on the compound. Since Joey killed the prophet it only makes sense that someone in his family, meaning Bill, would take over the prophets seat.
Barb divorces Bill. As part of the divorce process she gets HomePlus and the Casino. She rehires Tommy at the casino and they live happily ever after. She brings Don back to HomePlus and he decides to be happy with just one wife.
Margene continues her kick butt role at the home shopping channel. Her and Barb remain close and Tommy helps her to restart her Indian Jewelry company. She makes millions, Ana and the baby live with her, and Goran (spelling?) gets sent back to his country.
Nikki lives in the big house on the compound with Bill and her 3 kids. She puts Alby in his place and makes him accept who he is. She fantasizes about Ray but never mentions him to Bill.
Joey and Wanda-no predictions here but whatever happens I hope its as funny as all of their storylines have been.
Lois thinks she has finally killed Frank but he really dies of a heart attack or stroke or something. No matter what happens with her I hope she is wearing the same type of outfit she was wearing in Mexico. That outfit killed me.
All of the kids, except for Nikki's, disown Bill, his religion, and his beliefs.
Alby leaves the compound and meets the man of his dream.
I am sure I will have more as we get closer. But these are my thoughts for now.
