I find myself watching (completey random, and out of order) re-runs everytime i'm flipping channels and see the show on.
I wont go to the trouble of watching it OD, but if i see it while surfing... i usually watch. kinda weird.
anyone else? I think I'm missing it. lol but I also kind of find a new perspective in rewatching the old eps. You know , that whole "hind sight is 20/20 " thing i guess.

we don't have the privilege of that over here (in the UK) it is shown on one of the Arabic channels from time to time (original soundtrack with Arabic subtitles) that you can pick up for free if you have a massive satellite dish; and its weird how old some of the episodes from season one look.

so in the UK i guess all your networks are different but cable channels , like HBO are different as well?
weird... to think of BL in arabic. wonder if ppl in other countries get how "out there" (if somewhat true) the basis of the story is for most in the states? lol

I love catching Big Love whenever it's on! I caught season 2 on Saturday and it was so fun to watch an oldie. It's cool to see how the characters have changed and how they have not changed at all.  |

there is no UK HBO channel; although one third-rate cable provider does show hbo shows on pay per view demand from time to time (this did include the second season of big love but they not only showed the episodes out of chronological order but then stopped halfway through the series!) also some popular HBO shows have been on mainstream fta british channels in the past; some European countries have their own HBOs with dubbed programmes but they are very very heavily encrypted and over here in the UK you can't get a decoder card. We do have cable here but satellite TV is more popular because there are a lot more channels available. We do get most other US stations in a UK version but what they show is often completely different, FX only shows third rate sci-fi programmes over here for example. Most new apartment buildings have a satellite on the roof so anyone can tap into it; though obviously most of the decent channels so require a paid subscription. Many people in the UK get a massive motorised dish (you have to have it in your garden though; its illegal to have it visibly on your house as it breaches planning laws) and then a generic made in china box and then they can pick up most European and middle eastern satellites. We don't have a TV personally (always watched big love online after the UK channel that showed it stopped showing it) but we have seen Big love at others houses on the Arabic MBC network. I know on the big love page on facebook there were quite a lot of huge fans from the middle east, especially Saudi Arabia. The channel it is shown on tends to be watched by those who have spent time in 'the west' or expats but not really sure what people made of the whole polygamy aspect of things. Polygamy isn't that common in most Arabic countries now; in some its non existent but it is quite often a subject matter for their soaps and drama serials so I'm sure most people realise that it is just TV and not the norm in the states.

I was hoping they would do that, so I could DVR every episode and watch whenever I felt like it before cancelling HBO again. Big Love is the only reason I order HBO. I cancel it the rest of the year. |

I rewatched every epsiode before I let myself watch the last. Sigh I hate that this show is over. There are so few intellent scripted shows on TV! Does anyone know what the BL creators are doing next?

Yup! I have all seasons on DVD thanks to 21st centurly technology and I have been watching Season 1 over and over. I like season 1 the best.
