...Or is anyone else just feeling a bit let down by this episode?
I mean maybe I need to go back and watch it again (which I will when Ben gets home) to digest everything... But I feel like a bunch of important stuff was not addressed and dang it, this season has one episode left!

I completely agree. And the previews don't look like we'll have lots of answers. There is not enough time in an hour to wrap this all up. I'd at least like to see what happened to Hollace, Joey to return, and to find out what JJ's son was shooting into Nicki! Who cares about the election? Unfortunately, that will probably be the main focus next week.

I liked most of the this episode. It had a lot of good things.
It had Crazy!Marilyn. It had Barb/Tom hugging.
Nicki got a make over and it seemed to stick, she kidnapped Wanda and slapped Bill's ass face. Then Alby danced to These Boots are made for Walking, Roman's ghost came back.
Truth was flying out of Barb's mouth so fast she couldn't even begin to stop it. Margene realized she doesn't always think things through.
Then they made a quilt.
There is now way next week is going to be more fun.

Yes I loved the hug between Tommy and Barb... I am hoping for more.
I also think Marilyn's words affected Barb a lot more than she let on... I think if Bill didn't step in at that television show regarding the prescription meds comment, she was going to stick to her guns anyway.

I really liked this episode. I liked seeing strong Marilyn melt. I liked seeing Barb basically say screw it. I liked seeing Nikki in real clothes. I could have done without the dancing grief scene reminded me of Marge's.

I totally agree! Sadly I think they're going to spin out this creepy JJ/doctor/fertility thing as the big cliffhanger that gets us all to watch NEXT season. They'll probably focus on the election thing for the last part of this season. I just hope they spin out the Barb/Tommy thing into next season too Anyone else think this Nicki/Bill monogamy thing is hinting for what some people have predicted- that she's the only wife that will stay with him if he eventually goes back to the compound? Their conversation this epi was really telling...

BigLoveRocks, I was thinking of you when Tommy hugged Barb. LOL!
I have to go back and watch the episode again too. I feel like I missed some things and some of the dialog I didn't hear. And what was with the dancing barefoot to "These boots are made for walking"? "One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you" Walk over who?

Big Love is always good!
But, this was not one of the better episodes. It was exellent and better than all of the junk that is on TV.
But it just lacked a little something for the viewer, not sure what.

I kinda felt that, too. Although I complained about all the silly shoot 'em up action in the previous epi, I think this one seemed too calm and low key. I appreciate that Amanda is leaving the show and they needed to give her time, but Sarah's announcing she's moving to another city with her husband seemed a little lame after murder, mutilation, kidnapping, big-time shake downs, weirdo medical experiments, Margene's two husbands, etc. Hard to believe that the family would see it as such a big deal. However, I loved it when Bill showed up at Sarah's apartment with the pizza to help her pack. At the end of the day, Bill always comes through for his kids, and that's an important part of who he is.

I felt let down by this episode as well. I'll probably re-watch it and I might think differently. I had to watch it on the second run last night. My son didn't want to go to sleep, so I had to wait until the 11 PM run to watch it uninterrupted. LOL
I do think that Nikki is probably going to be the only one who stays with Bill. I think that Barb and Margene will eventually leave. Barb would be better off with Tommy. Margene would be better off with ANYONE but Bill.

I wish Sara's announcement had more substance to it. For instance, she could have been pregnant again, or adopted the Native American baby, or decided to go away to college....something. It just seems like she is moving away for nothing (I know she said Scott got a job there, but who cares?). It was really bland and stupid.

We would have a whole hot, steamy spin-off involving Barb and Tommy. LOL Hmmm....maybe it's time for some fan fiction. ;D
