That is half the battle with everything. Getting a accurate Dx is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Sad but true. I hope it goes well!

My personal health issue was on Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health Channel and Dr G because it is sooo rare. It is a birth defect that did not begin to cause big problems until I was 19 but was not finally diagnosed until I was 45! Three weeks later I had to have brain surgery to keep from becoming paralyzed ! Because of the delay, I now have permanent disabling spinal cord damage, though I am still able to walk. Though it is a slow and painful walk, I am thankful everyday that I can move on my own.

The Dr had told her that the problem was easily fixed after they discovered the problem. I remember seeing a show on a woman with the same problem on Discovery Health and she went on to have several children after they found out. And we all intend to "pray her through this." Sad news; my niece miscarried. It was really early and she is taking it well. The good news is that the Dr was able to figure out another piece of the puzzle and has put her on some hormones that he hopes will work for the next pregnancy. She is also young (28) so she is not trying to beat a biological clock. If you are the praying type, please remember her in your prayers. Thanks.

Oooh, I'm sorry to hear about your niece.
Thank goodness she is young and has time on her side.
I pray every night for all the women who are trying so hard to have a baby.
