Must be in the minority. I didn't cry. I thought the entire episode was lacking and really thought the end was unacceptable. Far too much was left unaddressed. I'm not going to lie, I was crying at the end and I am happy that the wives were still together, but I agree that everything wasn't addressed. Like what ever happened to Cara Lynn's teacher? And what happened to Alby? Why didn't Teeny come back for the last epi? I'm sure there are more things I am forgetting to mention... Tenny was there. She was in Marge's bathroom putting on make-up.

They mentioned her but they didn't show Teeny.

Watched it twice now...The first time, when Bill was shot, I was utterly horrified - my hubby walked in the room, stared at me, watched the tube for a few seconds, then kind of quietly slipped back out the door. The second time, I just broke down and bawled.
The dining room scene was really well done, I thought. In the end, without Bill, they made it together. Theirs was the Big Love.

I really appreciated them showing the image of Bill at the head of the table when Marg came back for another hug from Barb and Nicki, then showed the empty chair when the scene was viewed from a different angle.....I really thought that was fitting, implying the presence of Bill's life force remained with the family.. I loved that too Betheaz!!! Hey, did you by chance catch the "finale" clip on Big Love's HBO page? It's really great and Bill Paxton stated that he had a hard time with the ending of Bill Henrickson because he played him for these years and the "guy went through so many trials and tribulations"... you could really see that Bill Paxton didn't want his character to die at the end.

Jules--I am totally with you! My family said it's because I had a glass of wine. Give me a break. Wine or no wine trust me I'd still be crying like I am now. Thank you so much for sharing. The "Big Love" was between the women. Yes, as the producers said in the interviews is that it will end with "Big Love" and it does....just without Bill. I just am floored. Big Love prevails I suppose. xxoo to all.... Cora No wine here and I cried like Bill was my husband and I had just seen him gunned down. Rissmeek and BigLoveJunkie.... I am totally with the both of you! We have all been saying that "Big Love" prevails....but there were very few of us who thought it would be without Bill. What is the message here? What are the writers trying to say, however, not "say"? Women can take care of themselves? What did they do for money without Home Plus? Use Bill's trusts for the children? Women are stronger than men in the end (no flames here please I'm just speculating....) That women CAN be better off without controlling men? WHAT IS THE FINAL MESSAGE OF THIS SHOW? I know what I think but I'd like to hear from the rest of you all! BTW....thank you for your support. I don't drink all that much but I thought that I'd have my favorite glass of wine for the last show. I would have cried either way! And trust me, one glass of wine is not enough to make me drunk or cry after over 4 years of waiting for a resolution and being involved with the only "family" I have ever had. Universe/God bless!
