Sister Wives Premieres March 13 @ 9/8c on TLC
For anyone interested.
Don't think I'll be following this show, as I'm not as drawn to reality shows such as this. Geeze, I have enough reality to last a lifetime w/my own family! I loved Big Love because it was interesting, fictional, funny, & entertaining! (Ugh, I'm already using the past tense & BL isn't even over yet)

The wives are all saying they are happy and everything is great but the looks in their eyes (in my thoughts at least) say that they are miserable and unhappy. It's a depressing show for me to watch so I think I will pass on this season.

I liked the show last season, but I'll be missing the first couple this year for obvious reasons. ;D
It does give credence to the character of Barb and her underlying unease in the life style is reflected in the quiet desperation of Cody's 4 wives.

They were on Joy Behar last night. They have moved to LasVegas and are living in 4 homes now. They pretty much would not answer any of the questions that Joy asked! It was as if they had a script they wanted to read and did not wanted to go anywhere else. And Joy's questions were not invasive, IMO.

I kinda like this show. ( don't throw anything at me!) ;D we found out that Janelle's mother is married to Kody's father. so Janelle's mother and Kody's mother are sisterwives. Apparently when Janelle and Kody were dating, her mom came to visit the family and got the hots for Kody's dad a they got married a few months before Janelle and Kody. the family went to Kody's family ranch in Wyoming. The kids had fun and it was generally a drama free episode. the FUNNIEST thing was they were taking a group picture in Red Canyon, Wyoming and Robyn yells out "Ok, everyone put your arms up and make a Y for Yoming" Meri says "Uh, Robin, Wyoming is spelling with a W" ;D ;D ;D

They say that they didn't even notice each other before her divorce but...? So Janelle is also Meri's former sister-in-law. I bet that makes for some awkward family reunions.

I could never have a sister-wife.. It would be just too hard to share my husband. I think I would die of jealousy. Having said that, I just wanted to say that I think all the wives are sweet in their own way. I really like Robin and she seems like such a sweet, kind spirited person. If you had to have a Sister wife in life; she probably would be a perfect one. I am happy for her pregnancy because now this will bond them all forever. She will finally feel like she truly belongs to that family.

;D I was just reading the synposis for Sister Wives this Sunday (April 17).. and it just kind of reminded me of Big Love in a way.... The Brown are dealing with the aftermath of "coming" out; just like the "Henrickson's." I miss my Big Love, but have Sister wives to look forward to each week.
The episode is called: Polygamist Party Synopsis: Meri goes to the doctor for a cancer screening, but will the results be more than she bargained for? Meanwhile the wives are doing something they've never been able to do before: invite their monogamous friends over for dinner!
