I don't have the link... I came by an article that said she might be leaving... something about contract, blah, blah, blah... I will search for it this evening when I get home... this season sure has been a roller-coaster... in many ways...

Has anybody else heard this or did I read it wrong? I saw an article on the web, but now I google for it and can not find it... I'm a newbie here, so any and all help would be great. I sure do hope she stays on... and with Bill... maybe this season was just a dream... a bad nightmare and next season will be back to "normal"! Any chance HBO starts another season this year???

only thing i have been able to find in regards to who will return for season 5 is this little tid-bit :

"Love," whose current story line centers on Henrickson running for office, will be getting "deeper and darker" in the second half of the season, according to creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer.

With four eventful seasons, the fifth cycle will take a breather, "settling into the stortytelling," Olsen said.

Added Scheffer, "We want to take the temperature of the marriages." With the exception of the departing Amanda Seyfried, the series' core cast will come back for Season 5, with Olsen and Scheffer also mulling a possible return for new additions Zeljko Ivanek and Sissy Spacek.

FYI (incase you dont know)Zeljko Ivanek is the actor who plays JJ.
So it's possibe JJ will survive the fire, and / marilyn Densham will be sticking around.
Unless someone can come up with a source for Jeanne Triplehorne not returning, i'm gonna guess it was just mis-information.

I am retired and spend a lot of time on the computer and reading and have not run into any info on Jeanne Tripplehorn leaving anywhere. So if I read or hear anything I will speak up.

I hope Jeanne isn't leaving, show just wouldn't be the same then. I love her character & feel she's a pretty good actress.

I really hope they don't bring back J.J., unless it's just in a dream sequence or flashback or something. I don't know how they could really bring him back and have it be believable.

It would be more plausible for Sissy Spacek's character to stick around, although I don't know what else she could do to get more revenge on Bill. Maybe she could befriend Barb. Marilyn's words really seemed to resonate with her.

JJ's character could return if someone got to the fire immediately after we last saw him. He would definitely have burns but people do recover from pretty awful burns. And it sure would make his character even more nasty and angry! Malinda would probably not survive because of her existing illness on top of burns would be too much for anyone.

We've gotten a little off track on this thread, which is easy to do when we're talking about any one character and their interaction with others in various scenes. I don't know if Barb is leaving the show, she may leave Bill, but I think it'll be part of Big Love.

But talking about people leaving, (here's where I get off track for this thread, see what I mean?) whatever happen to JJ's doctor son??? He was there prepping Nicki for the IVF that JJ took over. Then Adaleen comes in, a fight ensues, Nicki stabs him in the back with a scissors, Bill arrives to save the day with Adaleen screaming, "Stop that man, he's getting away!"

Where did everyone else go??? JJ ran off with a scissors in his back, Bill took Nicki back home...then we see JJ and his bald headed wife trussed up with an awfully long rope (wonder where that came from!) with just Adaleen there. She poured an awful lot of gasoline in the trailer and along the path, a lot of it splashing on her long prairie dress, mind you. She'd have gone up in flames along with the rest of them!

So there was NO ONE else around to douse the flames??? Who knows, maybe JJ's son helped tie up JJ and baldy. Or maybe even Bill hung around to help. I know Adaleen couldn't have done it herself. Ah, so much left to our imaginations, but occasionally I'd like to see a LITTLE reality happen on this show!

See how far off track I've taken us from Barb leaving? Mod, HELP...put this where it belongs, please. Thanks

I'm glad, only because it would be highly unlikely that they would survive considering how quickly that fire grew and their location in the building. I really liked having JJ on the show because he was so creepy, but after what Adaleen did, I would be a little disappointed if he were to survive.
