Man! Alby is more of a mess than we even imagined lol! Though I thought for sure he was going too slit Lura's throat... Instead he cut her face. I wonder what he'll do next lol!

So Alby found out that Lura did a little chatting with Dale's wife? That was a scary scene. I thought he was going to cut her open.

I was expecting to see her mauled when that blade went to her face. That was a creepy scene but I guess Alby isn't as nasty as I thought. Still bad but I was ready for something deeeeeply unsettling, especially after what she did.

I found it unsettling _ I think he will continue to torture her & she is going to continue to take it

I agree... I think next season Lura will be reassigned to someone terrible lol! With scars all over her face.

Personally, I was surprised that the ending didn't end with Alby hanging from a rope, over his feelings for his lost lover.

I was surprised that Alby had taken the stance that Dale was an embezzler and a traitor... And that heavenly father has called upon him to be the new prophet...
That is a huge jump from being in love with Dale and dancing around with his picture.

That is a huge jump from being in love with Dale and dancing around with his picture. I was shocked at first that he said that. But after he threatened Bill & Bill threatened right back I realized it was a cover up. He's in the denial stage of grief.

True, and also he doesn't have much of a choice or he could be tied to Dale's death and they could try and say he murdered him. It has to be a cover up.

What was unsettling was Lura kneeling with her hands clasped as if in prayer while he slowly came at her with the box cutter. She definitely believes in blood atonement.

I agree with roughwood. At first I thought Alby was going to wreak havoc on her face (although I never thought he would slit her throat), but when I saw her with the one cut later on, I realized it was blood atonement. She has tremendous trust in him.

Yes she does, it's all she knows. Be obedient or pay.

I thought he was giving her a scar to match his own. Anyone know how he got his?

I thought he was giving her a scar to match his own. Anyone know how he got his? That's what I thought too. And I believe he got his scar from when the bomb that was meant for Adeleen and/or Roman went off on him and that poor maid instead during last year's season finale.

When she appeared afterwards, there were no butterfly bandages on the cut. So it was intended to scar her face, I think.
