The writers have a tendency in the past to dismiss big complications with a simple answer. Adaleen will get out any murder charges on the grounds that she was drugged at the time and doesn't remember any of it and/or didn't know what she was doing.

Since no one witnessed Adaleen burning up the clinic, she gets away scott free. And, if JJ and his wife do burn up, the writers will probably just drop this storyline and not bring it up again. As writerwannabe said, they do have a habit of doing that.

The only reason I suggested possible abortion is because Adaleen burned up all those embryos in the fire. She didn't hesitate to destroy all of them along with JJ and Malinda... But I think you are right... She would need hormonal support to continue the pregnancy. JJ is dead, I think nature will just take it's course. I also caught when JJ said "How can it be incest when there is no intercourse" and realized they really were taking it out of the headlines... It was also real obvious when the news on T.V. kept talking about 340 children were taken etc. They were talking about Texas and I guess JJ is supposed to be Warren Jeffs lol. Too bad Warren Jeffs didn't get set on fire for real. I guess it all depends on adaleen. On one hand she did burn up all those petri dishes but one could arugue that none of them had a heart beat yet so they werent 'alive; to begin with if the baby in her has a heart beat now its at a differnt stage of devolpment so adaleen could feel its an innocent life it all boils down to when adaleen belives life beginss..at the sperm going into the egg or when the heart starts beating

He also said Caralynn needs a check up after her tonsils were removed...maybe that is when he harvested her eggs, when she had her tonsils recently removed?

Adaleen is a high risk pregnancy. Even with doctor JJ's son litterally monitoring her 24 /7 she was considered high risk. So I think the chances of her carrying full term are pretty slim. Especialy considering that she liekly wont be seeking out hormonal treatments etc to help it along.
Also, and i could be wrong about this, it seemed that both adaleen and nicki (compound chicks) were against artificial insemination - like it was an abomination against God or something. So doubt adaleen gave much thought to the petri dishes - i mean they were inbred embryos to boot.

JJ was blackmailing Wanda and Joey with his information about Joey killing Roman. What he wanted was Wanda's eggs. Wanda knows that Adaleen the vessel has a JJ/Wanda mix.

I agree. I think this storyline is a bit over the top to say the least. Adaleen did a great thing!

Just wanted to add this little tid bit form a news article someone posted. The Daily Beast: Adaleen is now pregnant with the biological child of siblings JJ and Wanda (Melora Walters). Will the unborn child be sticking around?
Olsen: I think that child is going to be sticking around… I think it’s fairly safe to say we’re coming back three calendar months later. We’re actually going to try and pull off doing winter on our show and we’ll be coming back roughly with a timeline set in January. Adaleen will only be three, four months pregnant… I fully expect that woman to keep that baby.

Hi
though it would be a high risk pregnancy I would have thought the highest risk would be up until the placenta takes over, can't remember which week of pregnancy it is; but its in the first trimester; and if you get past that point it doesn't really matter how depleted certain hormones are because the placenta starts to produce a lot of them on its own. Thats why those with severe Polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid conditions and other hormonal imbalance related problems are at higher risk of miscarriage up to a certain week of pregnancy but if they get past the placenta taking over, then the risk is no higher than any other pregnancy.

Soph This is true. I have PCOS and I was considered high risk until the second trimester.

I think that Cara Lynn knew what JJ meant when he asked her about her check up for her tonsils. She didn't say anything, just looked sad and was quiet for a long time, then made up an excuse to hang up the phone.

She did look like really torn and like she wanted to get off the phone. The baby wasn't even crying I don't think, but she said she had to go. JJ had some unnatural affection for her. It was twisted for sure and I think she realized it.

It was twisted for sure and I think she realized it. One thing that I find disappointing is that in the beginning of the season, Cara Lynn was playing both JJ and Nicki against each other, but by the end of the season, that was never explained. I get that Nicki saving Cara Lynn from getting married to Toby might change her feelings for her mom, but wouldn't knowing that she could permanently stay with her mom and be away from JJ also make her happy, especially if she knew about JJ harvesting her eggs (and I agree, it seemed she knew that there was something up)? It seemed as if the writers were hinting that Cara Lynn is a lot more trouble than Nicki anticipated, but after a couple of episodes it was if they were hinting that Cara Lynn is more supportive of her mom than the rest of the family. It just doesn't make sense, and I think there must've been something more that the writers wanted to include, but didn't make the final cut.
