Yeah why is Joey not back is what I am wondering... Everyone else is back from Mexico... Why is Joey still there?

I don't know why Joey isn't back from Mexico. Joey needs to be with Wanda right now. Wanda has been having a really hard time. Joey would have to know that.

I absolutely agree - I've been wondering why joey hasn't been with her since we first met her parents. wtf is he doing in mexico, still?
Whatever it is that wanda knows has to horrible to put her int he state she's in. I mean we've seen wanda not necessarily sane before not completely catatonic... sheesh.

Joey, Lois, Frank and Jodeen are probably still making their way back from Mexico. They are driving a much older car than Bill and Ben and are probably taking their time.

Joey is not back and I have not seen the twin either (sorry I cannot remember her name). Maybe her and Joey are still in Mexico together. Maybe Joey is scared to come back now that he has told Bill that he killed Roman. I hope that Nikki is able to help Wanda. I would think that Wanda would have talked to Joey more about her past and JJ. Or, Wanda would have made some type of remarks and Joey would have figured out why JJ is so strange and what type of "hold" he has over Wanda. I am just happy that Nikki has Wanda, and, hope Wanda tells Nikki what is going on with JJ.

Well, Joey was always fixing that old truck. Maybe he really did know what he was doing with Hollis' arm? I miss Joey. It's like that whole character-plot was just left without any closure to it at all.  |

Hmmm...well, Joey admitted to committing murder. And Lois may or may not have just murdered Hollis Greene. At the very least, I'd call lopping someone's arm off with a machete attempted murder, considering how fast arteries work. But if it really went to trial, I think she could get off on self defense -- the Greenes were going to kill them all. But maybe Joey and Lois are afraid to come back into the country.
I hope Joey drives off and leaves Frank in a gas station bathroom, and takes his mom and JoDean on a little holiday...they could all eat shrimp cocktails and drink big ol' margaritas with their toes in the sand. ;D

the people who know wanda best understand she has episodes, and lois and joey (and kathy) were for a good while keeping that in check. joey has not been emotionally available and her abusive brother and parents are in town.
the experience at the 'sealings' including cara-lynns were also traumatic. it is likely wanda was sealed at a young age and that joey is her second husband. there was mention of her previously losing a baby. it seems that JJ was brought back by roman to punish him, and to remove cara-lynn from his care by sealing her to another man.
nikki knows wanda because they lived together when nikki was married to wanda's brother JJ and is showing her character growth by seeing wanda as a broken, needy person- rather than someone involved in the coverup of the murder of her father. she knew to look for the signs of wandas distress.
joey could be in mexico for a variety of reasons, and i expect that to be fleshed out in the next episode. if he knew what was going on with wanda's family he might come sooner- then again he is hardly in an emotional state to be much support to her himself. nikki's place is the best place to be (tho i didn't see her at teeny's party how odd).
i think the next episode will tell us a lot more about JJ, nikki's mother, cara-lyn, wanda and what has happened to lois, frank, joey and jodean since the arm-incident. i wonder what crazy stuff JJ is up to.

Yep, Wanda (who has always been quite mentally uh...let's say..."fragile) started losing it when Cara Lynn was going to be sealed to Toby. She kind of mentally went away -- Nicki burst into the hotel room where Wanda was with her parents, and she made that weird comment that Cara Lynn was in the nursery with the ponies. Wanda seemed to totally lose it when her parents both closed in on her wanting to show their "affection". Eww. Then Wanda had that scene with JJ loading the truck when she seemed back in reality, crying and begging him to stop what he was doing, "You promised you wouldn't do it anymore!" When he told her to suck it up and shut up and act like a Walker, she completely lost her voice. And Joey, the one who keeps her from going over the edge, wasn't there to hold on to her. |
