I laughed when she wouldn't quit lol! Then she gave everyone a mean look because poor Teeny had to go on T.V. on her birthday... Waah!

Angry, vengeful tapdancing? How Ann Miller of her!
Love it. Teeny is rising in my estimation.

lmfao! I know really!
At the very least we get a glimpse into what is going on in her head.
She went to LDS camp and realized what normal family life is supposed to be like... And how abnormal her family really is. It is pissing her off.

I was kind of surprised when Barb said "Teeny" very sharply to get Teeny to stop tap dancing. I'm not sure if the show was live or taped. If the Hendricksons were a real family and I was watching that show, I would have noticed how Barb said "Teeny!"
Big Love Rocks, I think that you are right about Teeny and how she is seeing her family. I posted somewhere before how Bill and Barb's children must have thought it was really strange to see their dad get sealed to Nikki. Then for their dad to start being a husband to Nikki, and, having children with Nikki. I believe that Bill and Barb entered their marriage believing it was going to be the two of them and their children. Barb's cancer, in my opinion, caused the family to panic. Sarah, Ben and Teeny had to have a difficult time with going from the family they were to living the principal. With Bill's hurt feelings on the way he grew up and was treated, I would have to believe that the only things Sarah, Ben and Teeny every heard about the principal and juniper creek were very negative.

It would have been easiest on Teeny, she was supposed to be 11 the first season and I think Bill and Nicki had their 7th anniversary that season. So Teeny would have only been 4sh when Nicki moved in. Early enough to adjust better than Sarah and Ben.

Withway, you are probably right.
However, I have a four year old. My four year old would have a hard time adjusting to his daddy getting married to another mommy. I just know this to be true for my child.
I still want to know what made Barb and Bill choose to become polygamist. Did it have something to do with Barb not being able to have any more children? As far as I know, Barb's sister has one child. The one that was kidnaped.
Like I posted before, I would like all of the wives to get together and tell their true feelings about each other.

Teeny gets on my nerves. Even when she's not being a brat she still gets on my nerves... always has , so it's not the actresses that have played her - just the character. I know I should be more sympathetic to a kid growing up with the added confusion she must feel - i just dont lol she's annoying imo. Tonight's ep I think was suppose to humanize her in some way and even that didnt change it for me... first she's a self rightous, kniving twit - now what? she's going to facilitate a re-run of sarah's issues growing up in their family? i'm sorry to be harsh, but really... the charcter is annoying and the writers need to give her somethign that is her own. either she's channeling rhonda / sarah... how about teeny gets her own personality already.

I hate to say it, but I find her annoying too. Also, her whole storyline. I'd rather they concentrate on CaraLyn instead of Teeny. There just aren't enough episodes in the season to start storylines with the children too.

I thought Teeny was coming unglued in that scene. A little angry or wacko or something is going on with her. I don't care for the character either. Not really the actress, just the way they wrote her. She is annoying.

Albertaleon,
Watch the early seasons on DVD and you'll get the story of how the polygamy thing got started. Barb always know that Bill was a lost boy from the compound. Barb and her family helped Bill get established, go to college, etc. Bill became a rising honcho in the LDS church because of the influence of Barb and her family. They had three children, Ben, Sarah, and Tansy. Then Barb had cancer and a hysterectomy. While Barb was sick, Nikki came to take care of Barb. Nikki initiated this move herself because she remembered Bill from his compound days and she saw an opportunity to get off the compound. We don't know the specifics of how her relationship with Bill developed, but we've seen what happens to Bill when he's attracted to another woman. With both Margene and Ana, Bill is attracted, develops lust, and then believes that God has sent a revelation that he should marry the woman. Let's assume the same thing happened to Nikki. Barb has been sick a long time, Bill has been without sex, an attractive young woman is around him every day.....voila! Revelation! Barb agreed to go along with it because she could not have any more children and she and Bill always expected to have a "regular" family -- 8, 10, maybe 12-- who knows? Barb has always been ambivalent about the principle, but she choose to go along with Bill's faith.

Barb has always been ambivalent about the principle, but she choose to go along with Bill's faith. I think Barb agreed to it, too, because she really thought she was dying -- and that Nicki would step in to take her place as wife to Bill and mother to the kids. I dunno, I would have told my husband, wait until I'm dead, then you have my blessing... The actress they picked to play Teenie is a more mature actress than the original girl, the character is older and has more to say. But yes, she is bratty and self-centered and I find her annoying, too. If the writers want to give her more of a storyline, fine, but please make her less obnoxious! I only had one tiny piece of sympathy for her at all for the whole episode -- the scene BLR mentioned, when she was helping Sarah pack she said, "I don't want to go public either. I went to LDS camp to see how it felt to be normal." And I realized that she's now old enough that she knows what's going on, and how weird her family situation really is. She wanted Barb to be mother of the year without realizing the danger the whole family was in to be exposed. This season, the older wiser Teenie gets it. But then she started talking about how she is popular now and won't give that up, and I wanted to smack her again. LOL

Thanks writerwannabe! Somewhere on this board I wrote a very long post about the impression I got from the backstory. I do think that Barb thought she was going to die. I think Nicki thought Barb was going to die and was going to be first wife.

Teeny definitely gets on my nerves.
She never did before. It is only since they brought this new actress that she has annoyed me. I don't mind the actress, I just think along with the new actress they also changed Teeny's personality a bit.
That comment to Ben regarding Margie marrying Goran... She was all like "SORRY BEN!" all snotty. I mean seriously, if she were my little sister and I was Sarah, I'd have slapped her after everything Ben went through, ultimately because of her mouth.

I used to like Teeny a little. But now I wish she would just go back to "camp" or somewhere else so her character doesn't take up anymore screen time! lol I know that might be harsh, but I just don't find her character to be likable at all...
