On the surface, it is a good idea but it can go really wrong for everyone. No. On the surface it's a really really bad idea. In fact it was brainless pure emotion. It is couched in the idea that forgiveness is better than permission. BAD IDEA. Pure manipulative politics which will ALWAYS backfire. Not only CAN go wrong.. it WILL go wrong. (in the real world) If I were Bill it would tell her to hit the road... "Don't look back. Just leave MY kids and go. ... because I"ll fight for them, if i have to to my dying breath.. you choose! Take your money. fame, and your sex appeal... and your emotional bullshit and go. I'll be fine without any of it." Not only does it not save Ana's baby.. she looses her own babies. Dumb... really trailer trash dumb.

Margene was probably responding to Goren's threats of outing them and that's all she could come up with plus the baby stays in the US.
I don't think it's a good idea but Margene doesn't think and is impulsive.

I dont think Margene is dumb. Ignorant, maybe. Fooishly impulsive, definitely... but not necessarily dumb.
That said- it was , without doubt, a dumb move. lol ;P
I think she's gonna realize it soon enough though. I really don't think we're gonna have to wait long to see this one bite her in the ass.

I agree 100%... I think we'll see this bite her good before the end of the season. Bill is going to be pissed for sure.

Anyone see the movie, "TheProposal". If so do you remember where the INS informs Margaret (Sandra Bullock), and Andrew (Ryan Reynolds), That they are going to interview them both and if either of them deviates in the least on their answers She will be deported and He will be going to prison. This is just another example of Margene’s short- sightedness.

I didnt see "The Porposal" - i remember the previews and wanting to see it (Ryan Reynolds is hot lol) but i completely forgot about it until you just mentioned it. was it any good? Anywho - at very least INS is going to look for a paper trail / documentation confirming their relationship and that they live together. They also are going to do seperate interviews - which basically amount to an interrogation. If fraud is found -Goran would be deported and would Never be able to obtain a greencard in the future. whoopie Margene though could face penalties including a sentence of up to 5 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine. The previews for the next ep show them in what looks to be an ins office - i'm anxious to watch this blow up.

The silliest thing is to believe that Goran is a medical student. University is free in most of Europe, why would he come to the US to study where he has to pay for the teachers salary?
