What exactly did Teeny say to Ben at the pool? Something about something that had happened at her camp?

I could be wrong, but I thought she said that there was "a reaper" at their camp, which is "someone who takes of women's clothes." It was way weird.

I'm sorry but I am so freakin' annoyed with Teeny's character so far!! That comment that she made at the pool came across as snooty and "holier-than-thou". It really didn't even matter what she was trying to say to Ben because her body language and tone of voice was so condescending...

I don't get Teeny at all. Not sure what kind of point she was trying to make with the reaper comment. And later, when she was talking about Ben's letter to Margene, why did she tell her parents, "They're in love". What on earth gave her that idea? Margene told Teeny she was handling it. What are they doing with this character?

Perhaps they are making a tiny villain out of Teeny, lol!

Teenie creeped me OUT big time!
She was standing at the pool in a pink polka dot bathing suit...Posed almost...Tapping her foot and just staring at Ben... Then the comment about the reaper? Saying they had one at camp? Maybe something happened to her at camp and now she wants to be a whore...Who knows...
What I do know is that she totally embellished on the margie and ben love letter thing.
I almost think her motivation is to get rid of Nikki and Margene so she can have a normal LDS family again, and didn't realize it would backfire and Ben would be leaving instead.

She said there was a reaper. I think that she must've overheard people talking about it and she repeated the wrong word. There was a rapist at camp is probably what they were saying and being a kid, she messed it up. I think something happened at camp with Teeny and she is out for blood. I read that she has anger issues. I think she doesn't want anyone else in the family besides her own mom and siblings and it is backfiring since Ben got kicked out. I think it's very interesting what they are doing with Teeny. She looks so sweet with her pink polka dots and then is this angry, manipulative kid. I wonder how far she will go?

Last season they began to introduce the idea that Teeny was becoming a "holier than thou" LDS. She preached at the people she met on their "pilgrimage."
I think, now that Sarah is moving away, they are having Teeny become the anti-polygamist of the family. She's at the age when she is idealistic and easily influenced, and she's been under the influence of her anti-polygamist grandmother.
She's also innocent - I think the "reaper" was her misunderstanding of "raper", and it's saying something about the mistake of trying to "protect" children by not talking to them about the facts of life, in all senses of the term. I do wonder if something happened to her at camp.
She simply doesn't know enough to understand that Ben had a crush he's grown out of - she thinks that first love is love, period.
Adding another thought to this...this is another factor in why girls in that kind of society are married off at not much older than Teeny - they're easily influenced, and very passionate about their beliefs. Lock them into their future at that age, and they won't cause trouble later. (Tongue in cheek here...)

I rewound and turned on the CC on that line, b/c I was just sitting there going "WTF?!?" LOL CC said "reaper" btw, but I too think she meant "raper". I've seen teeny this way for awhile now; "holier-than-thou", etc. I'ma little unclear about something though... how do we know that Teeny has been being influenced by her grandmother (Barb's mom)? wasnt she away at camp? I dont really get the connection .... My perception of Teeny was that since she is the youngest of Barb and Bill's kids, she likely doesnt recall much (if anything) of their family before they decided to live the principle. Taking that fact into consideration I always felt she would be the one (of their kids) that wouldnt question it, and instead seeing others around her question it - is where her "holier than thou" attitude came from. I was surprised though that she said "they're in love" and especially that when Barb said "what happened?" she said " I dont know margene made me leave the room" I saw it coming that she would tell about the "love letter" but I didnt think she would embellish quite so much.

I think Teeny is just becoming another girl raised in polygamy - a manipulative little shrew. Its the only way she can gain her parents attention amongst their gigantic brood of wives and children. Every line she has had for this season has been for shock value. "Ben's not righteous?" I mean give me a break. And the way she was like "was I wrong to tell you?" made it seem like she knew she was tattling but did it anyway.

Ok, this is my first official post!!
Wasn't it last 2 seasons ago when they had the block party and Barb and Bill found out from a neighbor family that Teenie had been charging boys to take a look at x rated magazines. Last season she read the letter Ben left for Margene and was quite vocal on how she felt (when she refused to ride in the same car with Margene). I just think that Teenie's character has been evolving into a more worldly Rhonda - a "product" of her mother Barb's LDS heritage (her comment to sara about not being married in the temple), her father's business acumen (charging the neighbor boys) and the Principle (snarky comments about Ben about not being righteous enough).

Is any one else dying for a Cara Lynn/Teeny smack down of righteousness?
These grrrls are angry. These grrrls are not afraid to fight dirty, while appearring modest and virtueous.
Advantage Teeny! Barb has no idea what her baby is capable of. Nicki understands her daughter on a spooky molecular level, she might side with her, but I don't see her being fooled by her.
Advantage Cara Lynn! She is from the compound, kiddo. Being the good daughter is what she does. She'll do chores and take care of babies from dusk til dawn, she'll do it well and she can be trusted. Barb isn't ready to let teeny do any of that, I don't think.
I love Cara Lynn, she has pathos. Teeny, I just don't feel her yet.

Hee hee! A smackdown of righteousness!
Teeny has turned more manipulative this season, though. Telling Barb and Bill about the letter and then asking if she shouldn't have? Brilliant.
I'm not feeling the new Teeny, either. I do like Cara Lynn - she's determined to get what she wants.

LOL ok, maybe i'm just tired... but the "smack down of righteousness" ? - LMAO Anyone remember celebrity boxing or w/e it was on VH1? (cartoon show where celebs would usually fight to the death on vh1?) I SO got a visual of Teeny pulling out her gigantic "book of mormon" and knocking Cara Lynn over the head... "Oh but wait Cara lyn has a can of compound kick ass in her back pocket" ... sorry, I'll stop. lol
