I just watched the "after the finale" piece on the HBO website. I did not notice Ben wearing what appears to be a wedding ring during the show, but noticed it on this piece. I backed it up and watched it again and Heather looks like she is wearing a big wedding ring.

You can see the rings in the last scene of the show.

Sorry - yes, I meant I didn't see it he first time when I was watching the show. I didn't notice it until I watched this piece of the last episode on the HBO website. I didn't think about them being married and didn't see anyone else talking about it much so when I watched that piece and noticed it I was a little shocked.
I plan to watch this episode again and I am sure I will see other things I missed the first time. So much was happening.

Yeah I noticed Heather had a really nice looking rock on her finger in that last scene.

I didn't notice that they were wearing wedding rings during the show but I caught it during the video on HBO. I'm curious how in 11 months they went from Heather not speaking to him to them being married.

I don't really find it unbelievable that they could have reconciled their differences & married in an 11mo time frame. They're both young, forgive & forget comes easily, when it's meant to be. Plus, Ben used his magical charm & charisma, just like his father had. My thoughts are that they were meant to be together.

I also have a problem that they went from not speaking at all in to married in 11 months. I do agree with the post above however that they are young. The other thing is that Heather has stated many times she as a soft spot for this family. After Bill died she probably comforted Ben.
The biggest obstacle for me in believing in their relationship though is Heather's family. Her marriage to Ben would ruin her relationship with her family and her church.

In all honesty, I think both of those relationships were damaged beyond repair. Heather's Dad was a cop, who turned Bill in, & the bishop wasn't really interested in Heather; but rather, what he could get of her in order to report it to Heather's Dad. The one person Heather felt she could trust truly did her a huge dis-service, imho.

Also, Ben was raised LDS, so those teachings had more time with him then "The Principal". With Barb taking over the church, Barb who was also raised LDS, the new church might be taking on a new and more honest face. Could be just what Heather needs honestly.

I wonder what Barb's church is like. Is it the good points of "the Principal", LDS, and RLDS?

I wonder what Barb's church is like. Is it the good points of "the Principal", LDS, and RLDS? I would like to think so. With Barb's now new revelation, I feel most assured that she is doing everything possible to free the heart chains of the women @ the compound, a place where women are equal to men, allowed to hold the PH, & making changes for a better life for all, as she is following her heart's desire & guidance straight from Heavenly Father. Go Barb! Paleskinbeauty, I agree, I think Barb is HAPPY with her endeavors moving forward.

Who posted that 1800's polygamists gave women the right to vote? Or something like that.
I think Barbs church is going to be open to a woman's choice and if that choice is a plural marriage, then so be it. And if it's not, then that is fine too.
