Watching the last episode and my hubby who did not watch the series was right beside me. I had tears pouring down my face. I really am sad that "Bill" died... It was a turn that I didn't expect so I give the creators a nod for a good ending. Someone here on this board (can't remember name) had predicted that Carl the neighbor would kill Bill.. Soooooo sad... , but happy that Ben and Heather married and Sara had a baby!! I am also so happy that Barb and Bill were okay with each other at the end. I'm still crying as I type this. I'm such a sap with these kind of things.

I cried big tears to the point my husband turned around and gave me a funny look. I told him yes I'm crying. I'm sad they killed Bill, I kind of wanted him to beat the rape charge in true Bill fashion.

Did you notice, when Margene ran back to hug Barb and Nicki one more time it showed Bill sitting at the head of the table. When the angle switched from viewing from the head of the table the chair of course was empty.....great image.... I loved seeing Bill sitting there watching his wives. Great scene imho.

@ Rissmeek: My husband was watching with me too. He knows how I get when I watch "sad" movies and shows. It was so sad. I really didn't want him to die at the end at all. ...... @ Betheaz: Yes, I saw Bill sitting at the table and at that moment is when I started to ball and tears poured down. Very sad ending, but you could see that they all were there for each other at the end. Barb will now be their leader. I felt bad even for Nikki at the end. I really believe now that she truly was in love with Bill. Got to give Olsen and Scheffer true credit at the end of day. They really ended it all the way. Now, let's all write letters and get a show on the three sisterwives and their future. ;D @ Duets: It's fifteen minutes after the ending and I'm still all teary eyed!!!

And when I first saw it I thought Bill was there, alive and well, and then it showed the empty chair from another angle. I think it was a great finish and pretty much the only sensible exit, all things considered...... I was waiting for Bill to start walking down the stairs and hug his grandchild. When it was revealed that he passed away just broke my heart.

Well my post is gone....all I have to say is that I don't think any of us thought this was coming in this way.
Margie is now helping others on ships...
Barb is a Bishop...
Nicki is the homemaker...........
Would this have happened if Bill had lived? No, I don't think so.
Is it the BEST thing that could have happened to all of them? Maybe....
I still can't believe they lost Home Plus and everything including Bill but they ALL stayed together.
Maybe Bill did have the prophecies is to help the women who are now helping the world.
I can't stop crying and everyone thinks I'm stupid. But to me this was so close to my heart and to lose Bill .... it's just like I lost a member of my family. Unreal. I really didn't think I'd feel this way if they didn't end up all together sitting at the table eating Easter dinner......

I'm glad to know there is someone else out there that is crying... I just loved this show and the Family and to see Bill dying at the end was truly "emotional" to say the least. Better than any two hour sad movie could ever be.

Jules--I am totally with you! My family said it's because I had a glass of wine. Give me a break. Wine or no wine trust me I'd still be crying like I am now.
Thank you so much for sharing. The "Big Love" was between the women. Yes, as the producers said in the interviews is that it will end with "Big Love" and it does....just without Bill. I just am floored. Big Love prevails I suppose.
xxoo to all....

There was someone on this board named Jon Reis who writes a column about Big Love and he stated that too. I always thought that was wrong, but at the end, the women have each other to lean on.

Must be in the minority. I didn't cry. I thought the entire episode was lacking and really thought the end was unacceptable. Far too much was left unaddressed.

I'm not going to lie, I was crying at the end and I am happy that the wives were still together, but I agree that everything wasn't addressed. Like what ever happened to Cara Lynn's teacher? And what happened to Alby? Why didn't Teeny come back for the last epi? What ever happened to Ana and the baby? I'm sure there are more things I am forgetting to mention...

;D @ Rissmeek: I can relate completely with your statement. I cried that way too!!!!! Then I kept hugging my hubby and telling him how much I love him. @ Southernsong: I was disappointed that they didn't mention Joey or Wanda? ...... That part was very bothersome and your right it would have just taken a second to get that clarified.
