Up until this season I would have said Barb. She was the first wife, and had to adjust to her "marriage" undergoing changes. But this season I no longer care about any of them. Yes, I think Lois is a hoot, and I could watch her endlessly. But as for Bill's 3 wives, I no longer care. I think Barb saw the reality of her life, came to the conclusion that it just wasn't satisfying (after all, going to college and interacting with new people broadens one's mind), but didn't know how to get out. Margene was Bill's toy, and as she began to mature, probably realized there was more to life than just marriage/family/faith, and wanted to expand. And then Nikki. Nikki was profoundly flawed, profoundly saddled with baggage from her past, and couldn't reject one for the other; she wanted them both, HER WAY, but couldn't get it. So in the end, the experiment of plural marriage failed. I almost think this is how it was supposed to be. Viewers went along for the ride, saw a lifestyle that was sugar coated (IMO), but was ultimately derailed by history and dogma. It was a great ride, and however the series ends is okay with me. I enjoyed the journey, but am not sad it's ending.

Trubble, I'm surprised you found this board since you don't even seem to enjoy the show.
