Did anyone catch next week's preview clip?... Looks like Bill got out of jail. Probably out on bail or maybe it's all over and he made a deal. They showed him coming out of the jail doors with a bag full of things (wallet, etc.. ). He was hugging Marge and Nikki. Barb wasn't hugging him. Then another scene shows Barb entering a (baptismal font). Did she join the new reformed church? And then the comment of them gonig down in "flames." Creepy.. Didn't like that metaphor if that is just what it was... No preview of Sarah, but it did show Lois in a "hat" crying. Don't know if she was at a funeral or a court hearing? Thoughts...

Actually, they showed Barb and Bill stepping out of the gate together and him hugging Nicki and Marg...so presumably he already had a chance to squeeze Barb..... Thanks Betheaz.. Your right, she would have already gotten her hug. Part of me was hoping that she was mad at him and would make her break. I was rooting so much for Bill and Barb, but I can see that the writer's are going to have all of them be together (which yes, they stated in interviews that they were) at the end. I was just hopelessly hoping that "Barb" and "Bill" would prevail. Heck, I would be happy if anyone at this points leaves the Family, but looks like it isn't going to happen. All I want at this point is for Bill to "compromise" something. I think I may just be glad if he is put in jail at the end.

I wonder if Lois crying was at a funeral for Frank? Maybe they had a suicide pact and he carried through with his end, but she forgot what was going on and was found by somebody just hanging around Franks dead body I noticed Bill with his wallet and belongings hugging Marge and Nikki on thhe steps too. I wonder what the significance of not hugging Barb is? Or maybe the preview just didn't show that part. Also, could those be the steps of the state house? I didn't really pay too much attention to where they might be. It does look like Barb gets baptized.....we'll have to see how that one plays out!

Maybe this Bill exit scene is a flash forward "Conclusion" like some novel writers use, where he has done his 30 days, or years worth of weekends.

Yeah, I wasn't watching the preview too closely, so I'm sure there's quite a bit that I missed!

Hello everyone. Can someone attach a link to the preview for this weeks show? I've been looking for it on line and I can't find it.
Thanks

Hi Jules and All. Haven't been able to get back to the board until tonight.
The part about Barb walking up to what looks like a baptismal font in the promo for the last ep: Did anyone notice the sculptures of cows/steers protruding from all around the font? This scene was shown very briefly and I only noticed this oddity because I watched the promo more than once and when I noticed I did such a double-take I thought my head would spin off like Linda Blair.
So then I played the scene frame by frame using my dvr and it confirmed what I thought I saw. The other odd thing, to me, is the large circular light above the font. It makes it look like Barb is aboard a spaceship or about to be beamed up to one!
I know nothing about baptismal fonts. Is it normal to have the bodies and heads of cows protrude from them? LOL
I may be uninformed about what this could signify; I'm not trying to make fun if there is special meaning to this.
Thanks for any enlightenment anyone can provide.

I think this was the best preview of the entire series. Yes, I see Bill getting out of jail, however, he could not have been in long because no one "aged"....everyone looks the same. He was probably arrested and let go quickly....
Also if I remember correctly Bill is pointing a gun again....I can't remember if I heard a shot or not and going to HBO and fighting with that site to watch it again is not appealing to me--I'll just get it On Demand and watch again.
I did see Barb in white going to get baptized. Strange that she was alone--where was the bishop? Plus Barb was baptized in water already...not sure why she felt the need to do it again since every time you join a new church you don't have to be baptized. Once works! (Side note---due to Big Love and all the red tape at many churches around here I learned how to baptize my son myself and did it in our pool two summers ago--it was an amazing experience!).
As far as Lois I *still* don't think she has dementia. I think she has some mental issues due to what happened to her house and in her life, etc.....but for some reason I think she is going to play a big part in the ending of this series. There would be no other reason for them to keep showing her going through her "dementia" if she was just going to fade away.
Bottom line is--they just can't wrap all of this up. There are like 20 other story lines going on besides the ones we mentioned here. I think it would be "ok" for them to just show the entire family sitting at the table and eating together, which takes us back to the first season. Of course they are all staying together and I think I would be satisfied to just see that.
Well, actually, I'd really be satisfied with at least one more season like most of us...but that's just not going to happen.
Kudos to Tom Hanks and the rest of the team who kept it going this long. To a lot of people this is a really controversial show and I'm just happy that I could be a part of the "family" for 4 years.
Cheers! Cora

Either in a Temple, or @ a local Stake. Realistically, I would think that she's in an rlds local stake baptismal, being baptised into that faith. Thank you, Duets! Goes to show there's always something to learn. I'm reading well past midnight, so I may be missing something.....I read the whole link and while I understand the fonts are built with the oxen to signify the twelve tribes of Israel, I'm not sure why the twelve tribes are important to Mormons and why the oxen are specifically used in the design of the fonts rather than used in other religious iconography.
I'll check this out on my own when I have the time. Thanks again for getting the ball rolling. If you do have other links to share which wouldn't be an imposition, that would help, too. If not, no worries.
