We all have our over all favorite henrickson wife, but SO much was coming out with the wives this episode I wondered who was your favorite ?
Barb was awesome this episode! I LOVED her standing up to Bill. I loved that she is finally getting fed up, and actively calling him on his BS. She didnt back down from it either, or speak her mind and then feel freaked out about it (as i think she has in the past) I was more than glad to see her thinking for herself and standing her ground this episode.

Nicki was my favorite wife this episode, with Barb a close second. Nicki edged Barb out because of her scene with Alby, but I did enjoy Barb finally getting some backbone and speaking her mind.

I liked Barb the best. I like the way she showed up at the casino and told Bill he couldn't fire her because she was on the board and could hire herself back. Showed him!

Nicki and Barb were running neck and neck. They stood up to their husband. They reached out to others that care for them (Alby and Tommy) and defended their loved ones from people who threatened them (JJ and Marilyn).
Good work Ladies!

I just loved Nicki. Barb did a great job. Margene came off as kinda childish and bratty. Guess she is mad about something.

My fave wife is Niki as she is the most complex--but Barb is always a close second, because she really got the worst deal from Bill, but tonight, she really put him in his place several times-- she is getting much stronger and it is clear she is finally seeing him for what he is--- I hope they show us her finding out how he screwed over don---- Margene--never saw her as living the principle-she is just there to get what she needs I think she is going to fall for Goran

The look on Barbs face when Marlyin called her to tell her all about Bill. Barb is waking up everyday to Bill and then have an outsider call you and tell you everything that is going on in your marriage and really how bad it is, saying things to you that you wont admit to yourself. That hurt, but then the truth often does.

Barb with Nicki being a close second.
Margene's character is not as fun this season to me.

Nikki and Barb tied. Designer jeans,awwwww.....how sweet. And yanking Wanda away from the clutches of JJ. Strong. And Barb--the line about being on the BoD so she can hire herself back--Bill didn't know what hit him. Loved them both.
But I did love the look on Margene's face when the INS person said 'five years in the penetentiary'. The change in her demeanor was hysterical.

I also have to agree, it is a tie between Nikki and Barb. Both were my favorite this episode!
I just loved how Barb went all Judge Judy on Bill, and Nikki is finally finding herself and standing up for herself too.

In my opinion, Barb is a very complex character. Barb had a life with Bill for 18 years with three children. After all that time for whatever reason it is decided that they are going to do a complete turn around and begin living the principal. I think that in terms of coming to grasps with the decisions that have been made and the life Barb gave up makes Barb character very interesting.
Nicki living the principal is the only thing that she knows. It has been interesting seeing Nicki trying to become someone other than a child from Juniper Creek. I don't know if she will be sucessful at doing so. Nicki tells Bill that she does not want to share him anymore. It sounds as though Nicki says to Margene and Barb "I love Bill more than both of you." Nicki also said in this episode that she is trying to become this other person because she loves Bill.
Margene is interesting to. Margene has never had anything. Her home business and success is the first thing that Margene has ever done. Margene did not go to school like Barb. Margene never had the family (dysfunctional as they may be) that Nicki had. Barb was married to Bill for 18 years before she became sick. I do not know how Barb and Bill became so involved with Juniper Creek during that time. Bill has always acted as though he never wanted anything to do with Juniper Creek. I remember the show beginning and Bill trying to distance himself from Juniper Creek, his family and his brother. His connection at Juniper Creek at that time was Nicki becuse Nicki did seem to really love Roman. Bill was never comfortable having Roman in his house.
Barb and Nicki have been through a great deal together. In my opinion, they have never created a bond with Margene. Margene has alwys seemed to be the one that is left out. Margene's business in my opinion has given Margene something she has always craved and that has been stability and respect.
All of the wives are my favorite because they are so unique and come from different places. I have always thought Margene has gone out of her way to be close to Nicki and Barb. Nicki is not easy to get close to. Barb has pushed Margene away too.
Margene came into this family so young and so naive. I think that Margene is in a beter place because of Bill. I think that now Margene has grown and is demanding to be respected and loved.
Margene made poor decision to marry Goran, Barb made poor choice by hiring Marilyn, Nicki has made several poor choices. None of the wives are perfect. I would like to know what each of the wives really think of the other. I would also like to know how they got to where they are now. How did Barb go from being a married woman in the mormon church to having her husband take two more wives and have children with them. I don't think that Barb grew up believing in polygamy. I would like to know why Nicki and Barb voted Magene in as a wife and not culitvate a relationship with her.
All of the wives seem to be standing up to Bill.

ok I'm finally read to admit that I have a favorite. Nicki for sure.
She is complex but she at least has a fundamentalist core. Barb is just such an unbeliever and Margene too much of a nonbeliever. That's the real irony of a faith. The manifestations never work. If you need an epiphany to validate your faith ... the epiphany won't make any difference.
The way to "fix" Nicki in a millisecond would be for Bill to just tell her (and mean it) that he did NOT want her to have any more of his kids. That would take all the leverage out of it. She would have to decide what SHE really wanted out of their relationship.

Nikki was my favorite. She's such a psycho. I can't wait till Barb and Margene respond to her I love Bill more than either of you comment -- especially BARB, since it was Nikki that changed her and her relationship forever.
