I've recently started watching Hung since it's on right after Big Love. And JJ, according to Wikipedia (not the most reliable source I know) Hung has been picked up for a second season to start airing this summer.

hmm... i'm kinda surprised they got picked up for a 2nd season. I watched the entire 1st season (it was on between entourage and true blood i think is why lol) I thought the premise had potential, but really not much happened within an entire season. they more or less ended up where they were at the begining. maybe they'll pick it up in 2nd season.
If it ends up airing between, before or after another series i watch then i'll give it a shot again... but otherwise I probably wouldnt.

I know what you mean about Hung, I like the actor that plays the main guy though. Also his partner is very quirky...I've seen her in a a few movies before. I thought she was great in the series.

The only non-cable shows I watch are House and Masterpiece . Ah, Hugh Laurie, I'd probably watch anything he was in and those Brit period dramas have sucked me in for a long time. As far as HBO, I was going to cancel after Big Love but I want to see The Pacific, since Band of Brothers was one of my all-time favorites. Dexter's good, first 2 seasons, especially. So are Weeds, Californication and Nurse Jackie. Mad Men and Breaking Bad are musts.
Storm-chasers has about 8 episodes every fall on Discovery that can get very hairy.
All-time favorite show ever was Deadwood, gone before it's time.

I watch entourage , true blood, and big love now tho as far as hbo goes , and Weeds also(showtime).

Breaking Bad is a great show. If you haven't checked it out yet I highly recommend.
Also, Parenthood (haven't decided if I like it or not yet), Modern Family (which I also recommend, it is too funny), and Southland.
And my guilty pleasure....Kendra. Crap, my secret is out.

Funny you should mention parenthood.... b/c i haven't made my mind up on that one yet either and several of my friends already love it. (go figure? lol)
I've been DVR'ing it , but haven't watched the latest ep yet.
The show looks like it has potential , once they really get the ball rolling on it... but so far the main reason I'm watching is that I'm hopeful it will end up being a great show. most of that hope is invested in the actors - the chick from Gilmore girls (loved her in that one!) and the guy who played Nate on six feet under ... I was in love with that character lol Great cast all around - so i'm holding out hope but i'm Far from hooked yet .

Breaking Bad is a great show. If you haven't checked it out yet I highly recommend. Yes, mottob, I must watch it. It's tragic, but never maudlin. Beautifully filmed even though what's going on is sooo wrong. It (and the acting) is better than a lot of movies I've seen. Plenty of character development and action, well, I won't go on and on. My guilty pleasure is Spartacus, Blood and Sand. Anybody?? An article I just read about it said women just love it.

Hey quick question for the True Blood fans -
Do you know if there are any active message boards / forums for the show OTHER than the one at HBO?
Someone suggested I put one together (like this one) , but I kind of assumed someone already had. Anyone know?

JJ77, Parenthood will be good if they figure out where they want to show to go. Right now, and I don't know if its because it is soon new or because the writers are on speed, the show is all over the place. There are a lot of different story lines, which can be explored but may be too much. I like it and will continue to watch it.
Roughwood, do you know of a board similar to this one for Breaking Bad? I would love to read what others who watch the show think.

Try the TWOP forums mottob. The posters there are really knowledgeable about the show.
I've never posted, but everything is discussed in depth. It's my go-to place when I need help understanding or remembering something.
