I guess I'm going to be the hopeless romantic and say that my favorite scene was having the whole family together and Sarah's seeing the quilt. When they all explained their contributions, it made me tear up.
It ticked me off a little though when Sarah fell into her mother's arms and thanked everyone for it, but she had to know that Nicki was the one who did the work of putting it all together and actually quilting it.

a quilt like that takes allot of time...any quilt does....but we're in the Big Love time zone so all is possible I've got to quit watching TV and trying to make it make sense in the real world...it's not real!

As someone who has made quilts before, I had the same reaction! "How did she do that in one day!!!!" BTW, I love your nic.

I felt the same about Adaleen's "I've sewed us matching outfits." Great if you're in a factory sewing the same seam over and over again, but sewing two full outfits takes time - and presumably she has other things to do. And it's always summer in Utah, and baby Joey never grows any older, though Ben shoots up 6 inches and turns into a young man. (My refrain whenever we discuss the alternative time universe of Big Love.)
