Well, I have to say for a moment there... even I thought something might happen between them.
It fet like a realy intimate moment none the less - Tommy sharing something ceremonious as well as info abotu his life with Barb. I think the moment became too intense for Barb... she wasnt ready to let go of her emotions because she was feeling to overwhelmed with them. I think thats why she ran out.
but then at the end of the episode we see ehr creating her own sweat lodge in the bathroom... what did you read into this?

I'm sure that BigLoveRocks is thrilled. LOL She got to see Tommy shirtless! I would love to see something happen between Barb and Tommy. I think that Bill should lose all his wives. He doesn't deserve any of them. And Margene just needs to pack up and leave. She doesn't deserve the kind of abuse she suffered from both Barb and Bill. I was glad to see her begin to stand up for herself with Barb, but honestly, I don't think her relationship with Bill is healthy at all.

Yes...I was totally thrilled to see Tommy almost naked! MMMMMM!!!
I think the scene at the end, where Barb kinda created her own sweat lodge was because she needed that peace for what was ahead that Tommy was telling her about. The purpose of the sweat lodge itself...She needs to be prepared, she needs peace and needs to find her way.
Hopefully she will find her way to Tommy's bed.

Tommy is hot, LOL! I think the "sweat lodge" that Barb created for herself could be seen in a few diff. ways. Maybe she was having feelings for Tommy & wanted to feel closer to him by creating something that they had shared. Or maybe, I'm just reaching here, lol

I would love to see Barb and Tommy create their own sweat lodge together, or do more inside the sweat lodge together. I think Bill expects too much from Barb, and wants Barb to give up too much of Barb for HIS dreams, his desires. Face it out of everyone Barb has given up the most for Bills dreams. I think it is time Barb does what Barb wants , what makes her happy, and if that means her and Tommy then I am all for it

I def. think Tommy has feelings for Barb. And Barb might be starting to have them for Tommy, but doesn't want to, which is why she left the sweat lodge. I think it would be great to see some more Barb/Tommy action, but I doubt the writers will take it in that direction. I don't think it would be true to Barb's character. She's the loyal one, which is why she's stayed with Bill through this whole mess.

I agree with it wouldnt be true to Barb's character that she is the loyal one, but how much more can she take? How she really felt about Margene came out, she was nothing but the babysitter, who now is married to Bill, and who has feelings for Barb and Bills teenage son. Which I think now she KNOWS that Bill and Margene were probably having premartial sex. I think Barb is putting everything in to context now about this whole polygramy thing, and I think it is really starting to bother her more and more. She is really questioning everything.

Obviously Tommy taking Barb into the sweat was very intimate. While I want Bill to hurt from losing Barb, I feel like if Barb crosses that line... she's the one who will bare the guilt and pain. And I don't really want that for her... =/ Bill needs to carry that burden since he is the sole person ripping the family apart.
Did anyone else notice the obvious lip bite when Barb was telling Tommy about the keyboard?

What she said was really cruel and demeaning as she is one of the wives. Wow.. I wonder if Barb realizes that Don took the fall for bill and polygamy at the hardware store? I hope the writers revisit that. I can't believe that barb can put up with all the deception that has gone on. I mean, to be fake to the neighbors and the school and such is one thing, but the lengths that bill is going to, to lie...I can't believe she is a part of it. I can see nikki, cause she's a little more ambitious... but not barb. Still have no idea what jj wants joey to do... why would jj want bill as prophet?

I think Barb is in the dark a lot more than we realize yet...
The Ben thing was obviously something that was kept from her...How you could not realize your son was missing a few days or why is beyond me...But still she was kept in the dark regardless..
She was kept in the dark about the whole story involving the kiss between margie and ben...
She, I suspect anyway, is being kept in the dark about the document that was fake...
She is being kept in the dark about a lot of stuff and I can see how when it all comes to light she just loses it and does something totally out of character.

This was a really significant scene, even if nothing ever happens between Barb and Tommy. Tommy has made it clear from the beginning that he doesn't like Barb, doesn't like what she represents, doesn't think she is terribly bright, and resents her being there. Barb never wanted the casino, but now she is the "Boss Lady" casino-wife. She awkwardly tries to fit in, but never quite makes it work -- she insisted on serving crab legs at the casino opening, instead of the traditional dish of baked salmon (I think), which offended the tribe. And then there was that disastrous touchy-feely sensitivity session when that one Native American woman said, "Fuck you!" to Barb -- which is exactly what they were all thinking. Then Barb hit the meth addict girl, and Sarah hid the fact that she had the baby...and Tommy scolded her, "you realize it's illegal for you to take our babies!" and accused her of thinking she needs to save their souls. The LDS church teaches some rather odd things about Native Americans, and I'm not surprised that they would resent those teachings and the people who believe them.
I think both Barb and Tommy are surprised and a bit uncomfortable with the feelings they are developing for each other. When Tommy came in to talk to her, he seemed genuinely concerned about her mood, concerned about her personally...and when he said, "You need a good sweat", Barb's eyes bugged out because I think she really heard in her mind, "You need a good screw" LOL And they may have both really been thinking that.
Tommy took her into the sweat lodge, which is not just an idle pastime -- there are sacred religious and cultural meanings. And he shared that very personal, intimate moment with Barb -- the white boss lady who doesn't fit in, and keeps stepping on toes and offending people, no matter how hard she tries not to. Tommy lost his wife and sons, but keeps a picture of his wife on his desk -- I think he is a lonely man. And Barb, bumbling though she may be, has a kind heart, and she is a beautiful woman. With needs that aren't being addressed (remember when she jumped on Bill for a quickie last week?) He knows she has a messed up family life and shares her husband with two other women...and now sees him even less with the senate race. And Barb and Tommy are spending a lot of time together. I don't know if Barb would ever or could ever cheat on Bill, but I can see Tommy making a pass at her, and her teetering on the edge...maybe returning a passionate kiss in a moment of weakness...
