There seems to be a lot of hostility that could turn into something else between these two...Is it really just me?
I forget Jerry's son's name...But...I can totally see Barb and him having some serious angry lust fling. LOL!

I think he's kinda cute. I wouldn't mind seeing him get naked.

I think it's more of a lack of trust that is turning into hostility. Typically it's difficult for any white man to gain the trust of an Indian. I also see this as a learning adventure for Jerry's son (with Jerry present). Notice how Jerry allows his son to do most of the talking to Bill about issues where trust is concerned or questionable.

Very good observation. Jerry kinda allows his son to say what he wants and doesn't intervene.
I wonder where this is going though.

Jerry's son's name IS Tommy... I looked it up on imdb lol can't beleive I remembered that. I must be more obsessed than I thought. Did you know their last name is Flute? yeah, me neither.
anywho... (sorry got off on a ramble there) I HAD noticed that Jerry seems to let Tommy do the talking when any kind of direct confrontation is at hand. I had never thought about him doing so as a learning experience though... which is food for thought. I guess I just thought Tommy seemed to be a little more hot headed than his dad, and had more of an issue with trust than his father; or maybe was just more willing to be vocal about it. IOW's i just saw them as having different approaches. But now that you guys mention it... it's not exacty as if jerry is in disagreement with the way his son has confronted bill or the trust issues.
I was kind of surprised that he confronted Barb though.

I am a little surprised Barb is being attacked the way she is by Tommy.
Barb is seemingly very timid, very polite and very non-confrontational...Why is Tommy picking on her?
Is it a lack of respect for women being allowed to make decisions? Is it a mormon thing? Is Tommy just the example of the boy at school who picks on the girl he really likes?
I mean he isn't just a little rude...He is WAY rude! Asking her if she has any pills to take...What the hell? LOL!

I wonder where this is going though.
I believe Bill is gonna have some 'splainin to do with Jerry & son. In the end, I believe he will lose his business connections with the casino & Jerry.
As for Barb & Tommy, that's still up in the air as to why Tommy is displaying such rudeness toward her. Maybe it was all about the initial opening menu, where Tommy wanted one thing & Barb another. Hmm, sounds like it could be a business grudge of the sexes LOL

I love that I am not the only person thinking this (possible lust fling).
Barb and Tommy are being forced to spend a lot of time with one another, and they are essentially the two running the casino with Bill embarking on the campaign trail...
When Tommy approaches Barb after angrily revealing the issues with meth on the reservation, it definitely sparked something in my mind. They have to be alluding to some future complicated relationship... right?!

I'm not sure if having the idea already planted in my head had anything to do with my perception of it or not... but i definitely got the vibe that Tommy is starting to see barb in a new , less hostile, light. add that moment you just mentioned, with all th eother factors... and i coud defnitely see something happeneing there. Even if it's not acted upon by either of them.

I thought for sure tonight when he came after Barb and he was genuinely sensitive to her... I almost thought they were going to kiss!

If anything, I think a hint of interest on Tommy's part may do a bit to strengthen Barb's confidence and invigorate her. She needs it.
